I heard today, that's incredibly sad. Lets hope the media leaves her alone so she can grieve in private. I agree with Kimmy that it shouldn't be more 'shocking' when things like this happen to celebs - they're not immune to terrible things in life..

Well...I guess the news gets worse...They just announced they found the white SUV that they were looking for with a dead child's body inside...This is just the most horrible news ever!! I am so saddened by the cruelty of adults.

This is ridiculously sad and what's worse is somehow we can still find something "wrong" with a story based on who it pertains to. I don't care who you are or your background but the point is an innocent child is a casualty of some b.s. he had no control over. Celeb or not do you think anyone should deal with this? I think it's worse to face this as a celeb as it will be a focal point in your career and money doesn't = anything right now. Just like the person dragged from a truck in Texas. It isn't about celebrity it's about the respect for another individual and the right to just be. smh again at some people and their ...whatever.

AND ANOTHER THING, no matter what a celebrity does, it hits the news. So if J Hud, J Lo or whomever did something like have a car accident, divorce, dui it's all over the bloomin news, this family still lived in a rural area, had a job as a bus driver and remained humble and what happens? Sorry but domestic violence hits me and add a child and it gets on my last wick for someone to make any statement about their status. Wrong is wrong and if I could or had the means of making sure no one ever endured this, I would. This is wrong for any family. Flag me, call me a B or whatever but come on does there always have to be a snide statement for everything. Keep it moving and have a quick cup of shut it!

This story has upset me so much, I feel like I need to vent, apologize in advance....I feel like it's one of the worst things I've ever heard for some reason because like, they took out her whole family, that's incomprehensible to me.

Even in the spousal abuse trainings I just finished, the thing that bothered me the most was the situations where someone has a problem with you, so they threaten/take it out on your family. That's 10 times worse than them threatening you. I'm sure 95% of people feel the same way I do: do what you want to me but don't TOUCH my loved ones. That's so much worse.
Losing your mother is probably the worst thing most people will experience in their life, and she has to deal with it coupled with 2 other deaths all at the same time and all from unnatural unjust causes?

It's awful for her, awful for the rest of the family who must feel SO unsafe and threatened, awful for the victims because what the HELL did a 9 year old kid do to deserve that? If someone killed me because they didn't like my aunt, that's fucked.
Did she even DO anything to the murderer? WTF is this person thinking, revenge or attention?
Fuck him either way, life sentence and tortured in jail for killing a child, please and thank you.

Maybe it's just me, but I feel way worse for her sister Julia than Jennifer herself. They both lost a mother and a brother, but Julia lost her child which I think is probably the worst thing you could go through. I say that as someone without kids, but I've seen relatives deal with the violent and unexpected death of children and believe me it ain't pretty. Of course it's a terrible situation for everyone who knew and cared about any of the victims.

Superintendent Jody Weis confirms the body was Julian King

US police have identified the body of a child found in a car in Chicago as the missing seven-year-old nephew of actress Jennifer Hudson.
Julian King had not been seen since Hudson's mother and brother were found shot dead in their Chicago home.
Police confirmed his identity on Monday hours after finding the body in a white car parked in the city's west side.
Jennifer Hudson identified it as her nephew. Police did not say how or when he died, and no-one has been charged.
On Sunday the actress had offered a $100,000 reward for her nephew's safe return.
Police had issued a search alert for Julian and the 1994 white Chevrolet after Friday's discovery of the shooting.
Superintendent Jody Weis said no weapons had been recovered.
"Today a family and community are grieving but we want them to take comfort in knowing Chicago police and detectives will continue to work around the clock to make sure that justice is served," he said.
Earlier aerial pictures showed the vehicle being photographed by police and then towed from a neighbourhood in the west side of Chicago.
Police later said the licence plate number matched the number listed in the police alert.
Stepfather's arrest
Julian's mother Julia, Jennifer Hudson's sister, found the bodies of Darnell Donerson, 57, and Jason Hudson, 29, at the family home.

Julia's husband, William Balfour - the boy's stepfather - has been arrested. No charges have been laid.
He was transferred from police custody on Sunday to the Illinois Department of Corrections "based on his active parole violation unrelated to this investigation," a corrections spokeswoman told AP.
Jennifer Hudson, 27, a singer-turned-actress who found fame on American Idol in 2005, won an Oscar for best supporting actress in the hit film Dreamgirls in 2006 and starred in the film Sex and the City.
She is currently starring in The Secret Life of Bees while her song Spotlight is No 1 in the Billboard R&B charts.
