longest time in a mac store/counter?

......well.........u are all going to think im completly crazy but.............I spend close to 3-4 hours in the Pro Store everytime I go........yeah.......my BF hates it!!!

Never more than 5 secs cause I'm always intimidated. But I plan on going to a Mac counter soon and spending atleast 10 minutes there and close to 300 bucks!

i go at least 3/4 times a week and spend at least thirty minutes at a time--max three hours....
a few weeks ago i was supposed to be at macy's looking for shoes, but of course i was at the counter. my mom showed up.
MA: "your daughter has a problem"
mom: " i know she comes here all the time!"
MA: "NO. she lives here."

its sad, i know. my friends hate me...

I spend tons of time, but I never timed it. I walk around and look at everything and I always have a million questions.

I've spent 2-3 hours many times. I'm buddies with the MAs too--seriously we got out to eat together. I don't think I'd spend as long if I wasn't such good friends with them. We don't talk about mu the whole time.

Ah, I know how that goes.

There are two counters in particular in our area that all of the MAs look like they have a constant foul smell underneath their noses. But I love, love, love the MAC store in Columbia. I know pretty much all of the MAs (my favourite being Mia -- love her to pieces!) and they're all so nice to me. I make the travel when I'm in Germantown, or up near Frederick, to make my purchases there because I am just so literally terrified to go elsewhere.

Lately it's just been in and out....swatch a shadow or two and run. I've never been to a PRO store but I bet that'll take much longer if I ever make it to one.

Probably only around 20-25 minutes max and even then I was most likely waiting to be served for at least 10 of those. The MAC counter is ALWAYS busy when I go in for a visit.

Maybe like 35 minutes max. I try to make up my mind quickly.

I always know what i'm going to get, so I try to be as quick as possible no more than 15 or 20 minutes, if happens that I'm talking to some MA.

i never know what i want...i just go and test stuff and develop a friendship with the MAs there and then eventually buy stuff..i was there today as a matter of fact (i spent over $120 today there, GOD I NEED A DISCOUNT!)..i was there for about 30 min, but sephora was next door, and you know they got multiple brands..i was in there over an hour playing around with stuff and ended up buying just one thing..but i was heaven!..3 hours?..they gotta have a gigantic store in order for me to stay that long and most mac stores aint that big for me to stay that long, but its all good, nothing wrong with it

For all the people who say that they're friends with the MA's - we love you guys, seriously.

It always brightens my day when a regular comes in for a chat and a shop on the slow days - it fills in a good chunk of time and breaks up the routine of the day.

I try to be in and out but realitically that never happens anymore. Since I started working with MAC I realized I'm friends with at least one person at every counter/store so even if I'm shopping and just trying to walk by I get sucked into a conversation.

this is so funny...im like what they call the experenced customer...i know what i want,what the celebs are using and whats new and whats hott right now in fashion/runway and red carpet!so im usually quick in and out 15-20 min...if i tend to dwell on and es or 2 ill just buy it all.

Since I have to travel out of town to the nearest counter, I usually have a list and am in and out in under 20 minutes (that includes swatching and browsing).

But I would LOVE to spend 3 hrs or more in a PRO STORE -- one of these days before I die! It's a dream of mine.....Aaaahhhhh!!!

if its a slow day for them and I dont need to do anything I can and have stuck around for a few hours just taking about anything and everything playing with the make up, if theres a new collections out swatch the colors and play around with them seeing what we like.

I tend to like those places better because if I try something on that really doesnt look that great they will tell me that and suggest something better and let me play around with it for a while, I was there when flashtronic and rushmetal came out and was there for at least 2.. maybe 2 and a half hours.

Never very long, 20 min. maybe? Well 1 hour if I was getting a makeover. I think it would be really cool to befriend the ma's, but I'm just the weird little girl who buys too much m/u =p
