MAC All About Orange Collection (June 2013)

Wow, those are some impressive stashes of BUs! I've been wearing MAC for over 10 years now, and I only have backups of four things: Rocker l/s (it was the closest thing to the HG red I was looking for at the time it was released), Deeply Adored l/s (which is my HG red), Whisper of Gilt EDSF, and Easy Manner blush. And I only keep things in their boxes until I've opened them, so if something is still in its box, I know it's never been used. I feel like less of a makeup addict for throwing all my boxes away, lol.

Btw, I'm trying to keep myself from adding SK l/s as b/u #5 in my collection...

ETA: Oh yeah, I forgot I had a friend pick up 3 BUs of Strange Potion l/g from the VV collection for me. She found them at the CCO. So that makes 5 things I have BUs of!

I have all of my MAC boxes except a few I threw out(on accident), gave away, or the ones that were sold to me without them.

This is me. At first, I threw out the boxes but as I purchased more, I started keeping the boxes because it was easier to store things and find the colors I wanted to use. I have the boxes for about 90% of my MAC.

I want to join the BU fun.


These are the MAC boxes I store my BUs and empty boxes in. I pack them inside of the flat rate box. I have boxes, inside of boxes, inside of boxes. I'm a box lady. Those colorful boxes in the corner are empty lip pencil boxes. They're not BUs. I don't want to flatten them for some reason.




Not sure if you can tell, but everything is 3 layers stacked on top of each other.

And you can see the names on the boxes immediatly which makes it much easier to find something.

At first I had a "no backup" rule, thinking MAC will release similar shades (if not repromote the exact same shade) in the future, but then I finally caved in and started buying backups of my absolute favorites. I'm hoping my backup stash won't get out of control. I'm running out of space for my makeup!
