I want to join the BU fun.


These are the MAC boxes I store my BUs and empty boxes in. I pack them inside of the flat rate box. I have boxes, inside of boxes, inside of boxes. I'm a box lady. Those colorful boxes in the corner are empty lip pencil boxes. They're not BUs. I don't want to flatten them for some reason.




Not sure if you can tell, but everything is 3 layers stacked on top of each other.






Here's the start of a new box. My new All About Orange lipstick BUs will go here.

I just tried Royal Sunset at Mac today. I think I want it. Oh god!

I grabbed it from Nordstrom this morning. I found IF at a CCO yesterday, but passed (the tester was not a good one, maybe a bad batch, but it killed my lemming for it). I haven't seen any RS swatches that I haven't loved tho, so I caved on that one. Passed on Honey Jasmine, I'll probably live to regret that, but I'm loving Ripe for Love so much right now that I only have so much room for peach-based blushes in my life right now.

Wow that's real late for the ups to be coming around. Last week I was waiting for the ups guy till almost 8pm and when he did come my son tell him we've been waiting on you forever.

That's exactly why I started flattening them. I was running out of space. I was picturing my house stacked to the ceiling with towering boxes filled with makeup. Then I pictured myself trapped under an avalanche of makeup boxes. Instead of calling for help, I would be too busy checking the spilled makeup I could reach for dents and cracks.

I just cancelled my Nordstrom order with Flamingo included. So, I don't know how that works, but it might go back into inventory. I just wanted you to know.
I had such a nice time with my local Mac girls at The Bay that I would rather give my business to them (which sort of always happens!

. Again, I have no clue how Nords works their inventory, but I wanted to give a heads up.

I used to keep every box I had... and then I moved to a teeny tiny house that barely has room for my make-up. I didn't think of flattening them so had to throw them out other than the LE stuff which I just couldn't bring myself to do. I wish I'd thought of it! If they hadn't already been taken I'd be out digging for the boxes in the trash to flatten... sigh.
