Flamingo looks so great on you. It may not be very pigmented, but it certainly makes for a nice lipstick to have in your repertoire. Gorgeous!

When I tried Flamingo on for the first time I thought it should have had more colour, but then I realised it's beautiful the way it is. I also have a problem with lipstick: I hate them ALL the first time I see/try them, which makes choosing at the counter difficult!
Well, you can do as I do. Just buy them without swatching anything.

Did a quick Google search and the Rimmel Show Off Lip Lacquers are on Drugstore.com as well. On Walgreens.com Celestial (second from left) and Apocalipitic (furthest to the right) are temporarily out of stock as well as the shade Nova (a rosy pink). It also appears none of these shades are sold in stores according to the site.

All of the ones posted here have caught my attention. Although I'm not sure how Nude Eclipse (furthest to the left) would look on me.

I bought Rainy Season quad today and found out the counter still had Tangerine Dream in stock. Is Tangerine Dream worth making a trip back to the counter to grab it?

I already have Watch Me Simmer, Ablaze, Tart & Trendy, and Sushi Kiss.
imo no, because too sheer. But, it is NOTHING like what you already have--way different from all those you listed. If you really don't have anything like a yellow based orange lippy, you may want it.

I thought it looked like it would be horrid on me b/c my complexion amps anything with lots of yellow, but that's my issue. If you have a lot of pink in the lips, it could neutralize it.

In the end, I skipped because I wanted more pigmented. I think someone mentioned an OCC lip tar dupe??? Now those pack some pigment if you are willing to apply with a brush...

Thanks. When I tried the lipstick on my hand, it just seems like I had to swatch a lot for it to show.

I find that swatching on the hand doesn't help at all! My lips are quite pigmented, and bright colours may look lovely on my hand and a bit much on my lips! I also think I need time to get used to seeing my lips in that colour, specially because I never used to use lipstick! On the other hand I can go with any colour on my eyelids, lol! The brighter the more attracted I am to it!

I was disappointed in TD b/c I wanted a yellow-based orange like that (totally unlike anything I have) but the frickin' sheerness!

Does anyone else have formula problems too with these sheer mac lipsticks? They aren't only sheer, they tend to look like hell on my lips--an uneven hell that accentuates any lip flaws I may be experiencing. I keep trying to make TD work for me and it keeps saying "nope."

Hmmmm...I'll have to look back through my lip tar swatch library to see if anything is really a good dupe. Pretty sure something is and if not it can definitely be mixed lol.

And on me, Flamingo is quite bright! But since it is a light color, it's a good everyday lipstick on most people.

Everyone is so different! That's why swatches on different skins and lips help. I love the varieties of humanity!

Received my AAO order today.  I'm curious what l/l do you guys use with Sushi Kiss?  I also got Flamingo but I think I can make something work with that one.  I'm gonna play with some combos tomorrow and see what I come up with from my stash.
I use ablaze liner with sushi kiss. I love it so much. It added a little pink and some brightness to sushi kiss that made it more beautiful in my opinion.
