I woke up and she had tagged me on this pic. I LOVE these type of nudes for late summer when I'm already forcibly slightly tanned (even tho I cringe from tanning and getting wrinkly.. What can I do I love the beach) and my hair is a tussled humid mess, and I got time for lipstick and mascara cause cabs are hereeee! Yup. It will be ON like donkey kongggg

I rummaged again in my back up plastic tote box yesterday and found my MAC Golden bronzer. It does show up on me even with a light hand (which I prefer). This was just right. NC 30 FR. I can't speak for NC 35 and 40 though.

I think Golden looks very nice on NC30.

Nope, I think you will be fine. Either one will work. As both are perm, you can test them in store now and then get them in special packaging. Different occasions and/or seasons require different bronzers, thus you might even end up getting both.

I have tried refined golden. And I already have nude on board. I was just wondering if golden would be a good complementary color or just overkill on the bronzer department in my stash. I gotta go play at the store with my NoB and swatch swatch swatch

If you were bronzers often, go for it. If not, pass. I use bronzers on a regular basis, thus I pick up new one whenever they come out (with the exception of AA!

), but if don't use them a lot, you can probably spend your money better on other stuff.

I'm kinda sad about this collection...love the packaging but the colors don't excite me at all...i hope its not a complete skip for me.

I feel the same way. I MIGHT get a lippy after seeing actual swatches of them but then probably not as I don't love Cremesheens. MAYBE a bronzer.

I'm about NC30-35ish right now. I think I'll go with Golden :) The lipsticks are looking so brown in that pic. I hope the purple one looks better.

I'm not buying much makeup anymore and instead I'm just enjoying what I have, but I might get something from this collection. I'm liking the looks of the ED bronzers. I use Glorify and Magnetic Appeal as bronzer and love them for that! I'm really pale and have to use a very light hand with bronzers and thus it doesn't get too shimmery, instead they give a lovely glow. I hope nobody gets discouraged by others from at least trying them. Everybody has their own opinion, but I feel like lately things get generalized a lot of the time. I read things like nobody with pale skin can wear this or nobody with dark skin can wear that. I do not like that I read this so often lately and I don't mean to offend anyone, but I just had to mention it.

Thumbs up x100!
I didn't address this yet, because I didn't want to start any drama, but it's rubbing me the wrong way too... With the amount of products that supposedly only work on NC you would think MAC hates us NW folks.

I would have missed out on so many great products that allegedly are no-go for NWs. We all have opinions and everyone is welcome to share theirs, it's just this generalisation that is unnessecary. If a product didn't work for you it still might for someone else, even though they have the same skintone as you.

Glad to hear your enjoing your stash, PDF :)

This is the first LE collection I've actually been interested in! My list so far is Golden bronzing powder and possibly Goddess of the Sea LS. Does anyone know how much the markup is for LE collections in the UK?
