What I really miss in this collection is an SH brush. I travel a lot and therefore really appreciate short handles. They usually come out with the summer collection, but nada. There is hope for next year.
i regret not getting the hey sailor? one you recommended

Not sure I agree with this. Not everything is flattering on everybody. That's why there are 53 million variations of lipsticks, etc so you can find which ones suit you best. However, everyone is free to spend their money on whatever they want. Personally, I appreciate these distinctions because it saves me money and keeps me from looking crazy.
That's actually not what I said. I'm not saying everything can work for every single person. I'm trying to say that not a whole group of people (like pale or deeper skintones) should be excluded from a certain product and I feel like that's being said more often lately than it has in the past. English isn't my first language so if something is incorrect in the way I say it please let me know and I'll edit my post.

You speak English very well, for it not being your first language!

I'm sorry. :-/

MAC seems to put out less and less SH brushes, but a gazillion of SE ones. Sad face.

I really like SH brushes since I find them easier to control and wish they'd do more of those as well.

I really like the SH bronzer brush that came out with Hey Sailor - I always use that one to apply Forever Marilyn or bronzer. It's great for applying a light sweep of colour.

I assume that your comment refers to me - please correct me if I am wrong, I want to address this directly as I do take offense. One of the most frequently asked questions on Specktra is indeed "Will product x work on my skin [insert NC/NW in here]?," thus it is normal that people, including myself, give their opinion and share their expertise. I never say that x should not wear y. I use phrases such as "not suitable for..." "works best on..." I also strongly believe in testing the product in person, which is statement that will probably turn up in every thread here on Sprecktra. Having said that, I wholeheartedly agree with you that nobody should discouraged to try out a product. For those who can't swatch in person, I try to give my best recommendations and I'm proud to say that these worked out for a lot of gals on here.

Anyway, no harm done. I just needed to address your comment, but we both probably agree that we do not want to take this matter further, so hopefully we can close this chapter. No hard feelings.

I'm sorry, but the way you phrased this is causing a bit of

We do have entire threads on Specktra that are dedicated to find the best colors for different skin tones. This is wonderful as it allows us to share our experience with others. Of course, everybody is entitled to have their own opinion and buy whatever the want. If you want to buy the whole collection and you have the funds, go for it.

No, MAC doesn't hate NW folks, but there is a much smaller pool of cool-toned collections than warm-toned. Just browse through the promo pics. Other pale NW folks can probably attest that MAC puts out much more warmer collections than cool-toned ones. @MACina, @elegant-one and other cool beauties can certainly relate. This doesn't mean a cool-toned person can wear warm-toned make up - it's just takes a bit more work.

I've said enough on this topic. Resorting back to posting less as discussions are these are tiresome.

* I do take your comment very personal as my inbox is full of PMs (from the past years) from you asking for advice (which I provided) what will work on pale NWs and what you should buy. I'm not talking about just one or two messages, but dozens. You are throwing me under the bus here which is not cool at all. No need to take this any further as it is getting obnoxious.
That' s why I do often get BUs of the cool-toned products! I want to be covered

When people ask specifically if a product can work for them and mention their skintone of course it's fine to give your opinion. They would like help and if you give it that's great. I do think phrases like "not suitable for" say that a product won't look good on a certain skintone, for some reason "works best for" sounds different to me though and doesn't offend me. Maybe it's the way I read things, but I think more people look at it the way I do and I just wanted to mention it. That way others like you can also explain if you meant it a different way when you use phrases like that and I'll keep that in mind in the future. Hopefully you can also understand why I thought what I thought and keep that in mind as well.

It's fine. Still, it would have been nice if you had me addressed directly in a PM as your comment was directly targeted at me.

Anyway, I'm glad the issue is solved.

Thank you

I learned a lot from reading and posting on this forum and watching youtube videos. English was one of the hardest subjects for me in high school and because I just wanted to read and hear about makeup I kept reading and watching in english since most information is in english. So makeup had actually thought me english lol.

I like how flat it is. Almost like the 183 but with a handle.

It wasn't directly targeted to you. More people have said things like that and that's why I didn't pm you, but wanted to mention it here so hopefully everyone could understand my problem. I have been on specktra for quite some time and I just feel like specktra has changed and needed to get it off my chest.

I LOVE that SH brush from Hey Sailor! I wish I would've gotten a BU as well!
I also travel a lot like @Mac-Guy and find the SH (NOT SE) brushes really useful and awesome! I was hoping for a SH return of that HS brush this year... poo.

I have to admit that I double-BU all my LE brushes. But I'd like a wider variety. And please no 129SH. It's Carbon, just in form of a brush. :)
