MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection (May 22, 2014)

I would have love to see a ED blush in a really light pink or lavender color. I really love this collection but the blushes look boring as hell to me.Especially for a summer collection! I mean I get the whole point of being bronzy nude in the summer, but its boring :/

That packaging looks so amazing and I love the names.

I'm bummed out about the colors being so bland looking. Fathoms Deep, Silver Sun, Legendary Lure, Lorelei, Seduced at Sea, Water Deities, Modern Lure, Enchanted, Mystical, and Goddess of The Sea are the only ones that peaked my interest but only because of the names. :\ This might be a small haul for me.

Sometimes I want to smack the people at MAC. They seem to have people that don't know what a lavender, lilac, purple, blue violet, orchid, amethyst, grape or anything purpley really is. Use a color chart MAC!!!!!!!

The only thing that possibly interests me are the EDSFs, and that just depends on if the colours work on my skintone.

It seems like everything will be going home with me from this collection. Besides loving all things ED, I just moved on Saturday from an ocean front condo to an inland one for work. Of course MAC couldn't have picked better timing in releasing a sea theme when I happen to be missing it terribly. Clarification: All lipsticks, eyeshadows, blushes and powders will be mine. I don't need/want the eyeliners, nail polishes, brushes, lipglasses, bags, etc. Now I feel like I can rationalize what's going to be a HUGE haul anyway! :shock:

Yeah, stinks. Are tiny EDES the new norm? I would even pay a little more just to get the bigger size back. It's not even a money thing (although it probably should be). I really just don't like the small size. I'm a great big woman and I'm clumsy. I drop the wee EDES like it's my job!

Eek! Never say something like that in the presence of a financial services professional. Try costing out what that haul will REALLY set you back after you add perhaps a decade's interest onto it. I don't mean to moralize, but a generation of young adults are being handicapped by huge student loans. Try not to take on a penny's more debt than you have to. It's so hard to dig out from under it later. Your life and choice; just offering another POV because I see the fallout.

Thanks to all for the info and pictures. So far I want modern lure and goddess of the sea for sure. My maybe list included seducing sound and water deities, and all of the shadows except fathoms deep. This may change depending on the color story. I may try a blush or skinfinish if I get swatches.

I have a quick question. Some have been talking about the size of the Eyeshadows for the extra dimension products. Are the minis smaller than regular shadows? I do not own any of these types of products.
