MAC and Iris Aphel Discussion

Ooh, I'm so annoyed! I went into town to swatch the lipsticks and nowhere had the collection. I came home, saw the swatches on Temptalia and decided I definitely wanted Flamingo, and now it's sold out on the UK site! Grr.

Does anyone know if it's online-only here? It seems a bit odd that it's not in stores (they had Daphne) or on any other websites (Debenhams etc). Maybe I can get a CP or something if it is...

In the US, it's MAC store and online only. Maybe it's the same in the UK. Did you go to a store or just a counter?

T's lip swatches are tempting, but I'm going to stay strong and pass. Scarlet Ibis is sorely tempting though. Party Parrot strikes me as quite similar to Gulabi (which I have) so I think I'm safe there. Since I have enough items for one B2M I'll be picking up just Diamond Dove.

I tried both a counter and a MAC store and neither had it, but the store didn't even have Daphne out yet (despite having the poster in the window). I might give them a call tomorrow and see if they'll be stocking it.

Flamingo may jump in my cart with my Naturally order - whenever that pops up on the site. Other than Flamingo, the rest will have to be a pass. I can't even consider it b/c of the size of my planned Naturally haul.

As I've decided to skip Naturally, after seeing Christine's swatches I'll probably haul Flamingo and Pink Pigeon. I *may* get Party Parrot but as I already have OCC lip tar in Queen, I'm not as anxious to jump on it. Morange I did a B2M last wee, I picked up Entertain Me and Embrace Me earlier this week, and I found Too Chic beauty powder at a CCO the week before.

But who am I kidding? These are bright lippies and I cannot resist.

Is Flamingo really so similar to Blossom Culture Supreme Sheen? On Christine, Flamingo just looks like a less pigmented version.

I've been going back and forth between Allura and T's swatches. Sigh, it seems like I should just read T's reviews and skip the swatches. So far Allura's have been spot on, so I'll keep looking at her swatches. Now with that said all four LE lippies I will be getting and still skipping all the eyeshadows.

I've been going back and forth between Allura and T's swatches. Sigh, it seems like I should just read T's reviews and skip the swatches. So far Allura's have been spot on, so I'll keep looking at her swatches. Now with that said all four LE lippies I will be getting and still skipping all the eyeshadows.

I am going to skip Iris eyeshadows to take two or three Inglot matte ones... is it a bad idea? I like Scarlet Ibis but I am looking for something redder.. a warm red... any suggestion ?

I need pink pigeon but otherwise I think km good to go. I may just buy the lipliner that'll go with it and call it for this collection. Flamingo is nice but I backed up my ever hips.

That is what I'm going to do. I've tried their matte shadows and haven't had success at all, Inglot however has been amazing.

I'm just gonna get Flamingo. That and maybe a nail laquer once I see swatches of them. The bright pinks are cool but I would never wear them and there are so many other ones like them.

After seeing all the swatches and review, my list stands: Only Party Parrot and Flamingo for me. I like that these lipsticks seem creamier than the usual MAC matte formula

Try Nars Heat Wave or Chanel Coromandel Rouge Allure Laque (by far the best warm red out there in superior formula)

I was told today the counters aren't getting the collection. I'm not sure if it's online only or stores like Selfridges, Harrods, etc. have it too. I'm going to London next week on Saturday, I will check. I wanted to swatch everythign because I have a lot of bright pinks/red, and wanted to see what Flamingo is like before buying.
