I'm having a love-hate relationship with my Studio Moisture Tint in Light.

The good thing is that it stays so dry throughout the day, it never gets, or feels greasy.

What I don't like is that it hasn't got that nice sheen that my BB or Clinique TM have. My complexion (which doesn't need foundation) looks duller.

There's a fair amount of coverage, which is both good and bad. I don't really need it, or want it, I'd rather just use a bit of concealer, but it does cover the redness in my cheeks, so that's good.

Oh... and I can't usually wear MAC's foundation, I get little pimples that the MA says is an allergic reaction, but just looks like little pimples to me. I don't have any allergic reaction to the Studio Moisture Tint at all.

Those swatches make me feel SO much better! I ordered Medium, but was thinking it might be too dark for me... I am somewhere between a NC20 and NC25... but after seeing that, I think I'll be fine.

It should be here tomorrow! (Along with my four Starflash shadows

) I'm sooo excited. Can't wait to let you all know how it works out!

Just bought the TM in Light on ebay, I hope it's not too light for my NW20ness - I will be NW15 soon enough though. And I do like to match my foundation with my lighter neck and chest. Oh and I hope it goes well with my oiliness...

Never considered the lipbalms because of what everyone said here, so thanks for that ladies!

Loveeee this so far.

Medium matches me great. I did buff my usual bare mineral over the top of it, and WHOA. Love.

Tomorrow I might be brave and just use this (and blush and msf) and leave out the Bare Minerals and see what happens.

How are the rest of you applying yours? I'm using my fingers and just rubbing it in like a moisturizer, and I'm wondering if I should get a brush instead to apply it more like a foundation.

I mean, is it a moisturizer that has the added benefit of a tint, or a sheer to light foundation that has the added benefit of a moisturizer? I need to know what category this goes in so I know how to treat it!

I'm loving it, I live in the arctic and even in summer it is super dry here so I use a bit of my oil of olay still but not much, beneath it for extra moisture, I never have time to do full makeup in the morning , what can I say I lovvvve my sleep . So this is turning into a great routine for me so I have a little coverage, i just use my fingers to dab it on and quickly spread it out and since its so sheer i don't have to worry too much if I miss a little spot here or there. I've been doing the 'no makeup' makeup look lately. Just not feeling super colourful, I go through phases. ~L~

I've been using Studio Moisture Fix SPF 15 for years and it's lightweight but moisturizing.

My Studio Moisture Tint SPF 15 doesn't feel as nice. Do you suppose it's the octinoxate that makes my skin feel dry? It almost feels as if I'm not wearing any moisturizer at all.

I try and solve the problem by using the Studio Moisture Fix first... but just putting on the Studio Moisture Tint after makes me feel dry.

I almost did...but there was no color at all

Even a little & I would've kept it.
And, I think it's really weird that it had a fair amount of color on my hand, but none on my lips

I know! I also got Pink Tinge and it looks the exact same as Full Of Grace on my lips... meaning it looks like nothing.

They looked so pretty on my hand though.

i have decided that i won't be getting any of the lip balms. most people seem to be dissapointed with them and at the end of the day i still have 3 tendertones left that i used each day. hopefully next year mac will give us the tendertones back again!

the tinted moisturiser though i shall get but seeing as it's perm i won't be rushing to buy it until i get some birthday money (which will be october!!)

My cute friend/MA sent me some sample of this collection in the mail!

She sent me Just a Smidge and Full of Grace lip tints and 2 colors of the tinted moisturizer. I'm so happy to be able to try this product! I think the lip tints are kind of sticky for a lip balm, and as everyone has said, a little too colorless, so I'm glad I didn't shell out any $$ for them, but I will definitely use these samples up. As for the tinted moisturizer, I hope they will give me decent coverage. I don't like very heavy coverage anyways, but I do have slightly red cheeks that I like to conceal a little. I am thinking the 109 will be a good brush to apply, what do you all think?

Any darker skin gals try out the deep dark SMT? How's the coloring/coverage (I have some acne scarring)?

In general other TM has made me more oily, how has this wore for those with oily skin?
