Y'all, I want a back-up of Lavender Whip. Which is crazy, because I had no intentions of purchasing it in the first place! Seriously, I only tried it on because I was sure I wouldn't be interested, and I thought it would save me from getting a random crazy obsession with having it somewhere down the line. xD
But uhm, LW is awesome. I don't know what it is about it. It's so not my style and yet I still feel comfortable wearing it... Unlike with the other MAC lipstick I've BU'd (Absolute Power, Heroine, Party Parrot), I feel like this one is more warranted for back-up status because it stems not from my somewhat irrational reasoning for those backups -- just because, in case it never comes out again/skippers' obsession, and because I had lusted after PP for almost a year and was not missing that, respectively -- but because I can actually see myself getting through this LW, mainly because I have absolutely nothing else like it.
The only other things I got were Eclair PP and More to Love PWL l/l. The SA was trying to sell me on Sweet Tooth MLB, which looked great paired with LW, but I'm on an unofficial lipgloss no-buy for the rest of time (lol) and I didn't feel it was worth breaking for (Mirrored Plum, on the other hand, was). Rasperry Swirl looked like a more opaque version of VG Gaga 1 on my lips. I didn't like it, even though somehow VGG1 is my second most-used MAC lippie. Don't even know how that happened.
Got color matched, too! Apparently I'm NW45, which is lighter than what I have previously estimated o_o
