My thoughts on reading the color story (thanks MAC-Guy)

Lipstick Rasberry Swirl - Doubtfully will make the list. Too many pinks, however, the Cremesheen finish is something I don't have a nice bubblegum pink. Must be different from Sweetie, Angel, Naughty Saute, & many other pinks to justify the purchase... Pure Decoration - This could go into Tyrone Biggums territory if there is more white pigment than peach. And it could be too orange. Many ways for it to go wrong, and it must be different from Playing Koi. I bet its a pass. See--sometimes I anti-enable. Lavender Whip - Light cool lavender (Cremesheen) Oh yes with BU. Devil's Food - Glossy deep plum (Frost) This has piqued my interest. Love the name, love plum, pretty ambivalent about a Frost finish.
Mineralize Tinted Lip Balm: Do we love the lip balm? Enough to justify 20 bucks for a tiny tube? I am not so sure. Not sure what they were thinking here, but really they needed more product to justify these prices IMHO. I mean I can buy pretty good lip balm for much, much less. And, really, how much tint are these going to have? Sweet Tooth --I like Lavender, but it would have to really have some pigmentation to justify the cost. Baking Beauty - I like peach, but have plenty of peach gloss. I don't think the "balm" or "mineral" properties are superlative enough to justify the price or breaking my gloss no buy. It is often the product that is the same as the collection name that is really outstanding, but I am just not feeling the balms. Tell me I'm wrong here, because I actually want to be enabled on these. But I feel too much like a chump when I see the tiny ass tubes. Glace' - Creamy pale baby blue its a maybe because its a blue lip product that if it has even medium pigmentation could be used for layering, so I'd consider it... Cheery Cherry -Definitely no, too much pink gloss, too little product in the tube. Hey, more for everyone who likes these--I am focused on the eye & cheek products in this collection...
Pro Longwear Paint Pots Fancy Frosting - Love the name, and I am thinking a white PP would be a great base, fun for mixing. The frost I am not too worried about as I can layer a more matte powder such as an e/s or pigment over it. Its a Yeah. Mooncake - Sounds lovely but beige could get ashy. Since its a warm beige, hopefully not. Needs to separate itself from Soft Ochre in swatches to get me to buy it though. Eclair - Oh yeah baby. Chocolate with gold pearl? What's not to love. Let's Skate - We've seen this one before. Not sure why they didn't repromote Girl Friendly or Perky instead, guess they were going for more glitter. I have the one from G&I so I am not sure I'd get a second one. Dangerous Cuvee - Love the color "frosty, cool grey" in theory, but the glitter particles make it tough to wear for me, the glitter particles are big and really tear at my delicate wittle skin on my lids when its time to remove it. Not sure its worth the damage to the skin. Plus, we have seen this color before. Not that it will stop any glitterholics from enjoying it--and more power to em. Even though it is in a PP base, the glitter in this one does migrate on me. I have this PP from the Champale launch, and I will keep using it (sparingly, my eyes can barely handle it) and I will enjoy it until it dries up, but don't think I will be getting another one.
Glitter Reflects Transparent Teal - this is a great glitter to mix with other products but I have samples and can get more, big jar not necesary. Pink - Bright pink-Sounds like a young princess' dream
Haute & Naughty Lash Black--wish they put out a brown, when they do, I will try it.
Pearlmatte Face Powder In For A Treat -wow, mint leaves and coral flowers? Unless this champagne base comes out really ashy or something & I really don't see that happening with these types of powders, this will be gorgeous, esp. on really pale beauties Pink Buttercream - Will probably be the more popular powder but not sure how the silver will look on warm skin tones. Still, it sounds really pretty. I can see this selling out like gangbusters just for the pretty design.
Must have: Fancy Frosting, Eclair, Paint pots, Pink Buttercream pearlmatte face powder, Lavender Whip x 2 Maybe pile (in order of probability to haul): In for a Treat Pearlmatte Face Powder Mooncake PP Devils Food l/s Glace balm Sweet Tooth balm Long Shots (probably won't buy unless I succumb to the hype here): Raspberry Swirl l/s Baking Beauty lip balm
