I think someone said that Knight and Knight Devine are quite similar, as they are both veluxe pearl finish, buuuttt...Knight Devine has silver/blue reflects where Knight is a solid grey.

I have Knight Divine and Charred so I think Knight is coming off my list to make room for Live & Dye ... I think ...will have those two swatched on my hand when I go in....BTW guys I saw femme-fi at the CCO last week

From those swatches, I am for sure getting French Cuff!
I may skip the Blonde MSF and just get the Redhead one. I have Pearl Blossom BP from Barbie, I may only need one pink highlighter.

From the swatches, the redhead eyeshadows reminded me of the neo sci fi ones immediately!! ie. that flip was similar to evening aura, french cuff to expensive pink and 100 strokes to magnetic fields. I would like to see comparison swatches of the last two pairs though. I already have the Neo Sci Fi ones, so might try to pass on those three... So more money for the other stuff!

I have to return those awful brush sets that my mother-in-law gave me for x-mas, so I can do that, a B2M for e/s, so that shouldn't be that bad.

The only thing I wonder is did she get it before the sale on holiday or after, and I have no receipt to macy's but it says i can return it without it. So wish me luck Jan. 8.

Thanks to Erine's new swatches! I was able to knock off some of the stuff I thought I wanted. Here's my up to date "Want" List:

B2M- B-Babe, Marquise d'

l/g- soft wave, straberry blonde

e/s- henna, flip

MSF- brunette, blonde, redhead

brushes- all 3: 165, 226, 214

So that totals to about $241.64 total. I need to see if I can at least knock it down to $200. I think the MSF's and the brushes are killing me. If I wasn't remotely even interested in these, I could knock off $165.50!

Man, oh man! If any of my friends saw me buying 3 makeup brushes and 3 face powders for $160 they would flip! Only MAC would make me do this!!! But I think this will be a really amazing collection!!!

For that reason I don't think I'll get Flip.

Happy new year everyone!

There is nothing like looking at swatches to cure a hangover. But my list has immensely grown: two MSF (redhead and maybe Blonde), Pincurl, Top Knot, Knight and Deep Shade. Will also look at 100 Strokes. L/g definitely Red Devil and Strawberry Blonde. I should really stop here. Oh, and the 226. Now I should stop.
Susanne, Jeanette, do you know if we get the collection really only in February? Not maybe sooner?

Henna has been compared to Warm Suede - can anyone tell me what collection Warm Suede was in? (I have so many shadows, I don't know if I have this or not).

I'm stocking up on Live & Dye. Fashion Pack is my 2nd fave gloss (right after Flash of Flesh).

For someone who is NW15-20, blue eyes, lt brown hair - what MSF would you recommend? I'm leaning towards redhead or blond.

Warm Suede is top right e/s in the 2008 Warm Holiday Palette (the one with the big red gem on the front)

Awesome. I added everything I want and it comes to like $356.50!! It bugs me though, because my local counter only lets you b2m for lipsticks from the regular line. I have like 70+ depotted empties. If I used say 48 empties... it would be a huge help on my bill. It pisses me off! I tried with random MA's and they all say no lipsticks from LE collections. I wish all MAC counters/stores followed the same policies. I'm bummed.

I tried to cut down what I want - but it didn't work. Like you, I just love the lippies. Those, the msf & the brushes

Wowzers! Away from this thread for a couple of days, and lots of catching up to do (10 pages!)..........thank you erine for your marvelous swatches and detailed breakdowns of colour descriptions and dupes. You are a treasure.

I will B2M for the 1st three, so money wise I think I will be in good shape.
