I will spend less than $8 on this collection. I will use my sole giftcard to purchase Redhead MSF, B2M for whatever else seems to appeal, and that's it. I don't know when I'll get to MAC to see this stuff, but at this point I'm not even sure that I care if it sells out.

One of the reasons that I've stuck largely to MAC is that I have local access, it was reasonably priced and there were so many resources for information and swatches, etc. It's reaching a point where that's just not enough draw anymore. Sure, I'll still make Clearance Bin purchases (I like inexpensive!), but for not much more retail (or less, even, depending on the brand), I can get better quality and better treatment as a customer.

MAC, you have done so many stupid things of late that the little bit of economist and the customer service employee in me are SCREAMING. Seriously, who's running shit over there!? I think they need some help. Pronto.

I called the Bay Yorkdale and they said they hadn't received their shipment but the freestanding store there had. She wasn't sure if they would receive the shipment by tomorrow, so she couldn't confirm anything.

The Bay at Fairview said the collection would be out tomorrow.

I also have gc's to the Bay, which I asked for BBR. I may have to drive on my lunch to Fairview, even though Yorkdale is minutes away from my work.

I don't, however, see a problem with things selling out too fast around the GTA. In my experience, not much has sold out so quickly that you'd be unable to get it during the first week after the launch. Although, I'm not sure how quickly BLM sold out, because I was actually being good at that point of my life. If you can't get to a Bay store that has the collection tomorrow, I think you'd be okay to wait it out. I have a feeling most of the stores will have it sooner than later.

Really? I called Fairview and the girl gave me the same reply as Yorkdale and Scarborough Town....I will have to call back...maybe they got word their shipment will be in tomorrow?

I have shortened list quite a bit from my original list

Blonde MSF
Flip e/s
B-Babe, What a Do!, and Blow Dry l/s
Strawberry Blonde, Soft Wave, and Live Dye l/g
and probably 1 or 2 brushes

But I think I need to see more l/s and l/g swatches before I make my final decision.... Just anothr reason why I wish I lived closer to a MAC, so i can try these colors in person.

I just want to make sure I don't get there and things are sold out since I have read that quantities are limited at each location because this is such a large collection!

I'm glad I'm not the only one who is having probs with the forum not loading correctly...this is the 1st time since the new site has been up that I've had any technical difficulties.

anyways sorry to be a nag, but anyone know if 100 strokes has a better texture than sketch? tia!

and for those of you having problems with refreshing. What I've been doing when im at the end of the last page it lets me on and doesnt appear to be more....is

say your on page 128 and it doesnt show up that there is 129....
in the URL you will see at the end it says XXXXXXXX/index128.html

change that number to the next number and it will take you to it.

Works for me. Just keep doing that.

I called mine and asked that he put me up the 2 MSF's that I wanted and he was like no worry they have enough. He said that people are afraid of how to use them so they probably won't sell out of them fast, LOL. I said I don't know how to use them either but I sure will learn. He did say the brushes were HOT. OMG can't wait til' tomorrow.

and I guess 1oz is 28grams.


So thats 18 more grams then normal.

Psh, 3 more bucks for 18 extra grams. Im ok with that

Well, there's only 2 possible downsides to ordering from Nordies today.

They charge so much for shipping under $200
and, if by some small chance miracle (hey - I'm an optimist!) MAC puts it up online tomorrow & we can snag it with the F&F discount

When you call,you could ask them to hold stuff for you til you get there.
