I just had a quick question about depotting. Since I noticed lots of you were talking about it for B2M here.

After you depot your eye shadows where do you get the pallets to put them in? Does MAC sell them and can you get pallets that will just hold 4 shadows?

I'm kind of sad that the 100 Strokes I swatched was a chalky nightmare. It's ok, though, because I got to bring home a new purple instead.

Because one can clearly never have enough purples...

You can get 15 e/s palettes in every pro store!

MAC sells them via all pro outlets and freestanding stores. You can get empty quads to hold four shadows, or the larger palettes to hold 15.

you know what I forgot about pincurl but on me it swatche like crystal e/s from the perm. collection, it didn't swatch on me like vex and seed pearl, it looked more purple on me. But this collection is one of those you have to see it for yourself (if you can) but you can't go wrong with the sheer lipsticks though.

100 Strokes just fell off my list and is a weak maybe now. Thanks for your review.
Congratulations on your complete shadestick collection. About time new ones are coming out

And Copperplate is just so worth it.

i've been avoiding this thread for so long but I'm glad I finally sat down and gave it a good read because I think I have finally narrowed down my list:
Redhead MSF - Seems to be the favorite of the 3

Couple of questions for those that have already hauled...
I love the color of Chignon but since its a glaze I'm sure the color payoff won't be the greatest. Can anyone recommend a more opaque shade from the perm collection?

I had Henna shadow on my list but it seems pretty close to Sumptuous Olive and one of the colors in the Warm Holiday '08 palette. Does anyone think it's worth getting anyway?

With Henna you can def. see more gold in it but that is one IMO you will have to try one eye to see if it looks like sumpt. olive because I can see henna on top of Mosscape or New weed fluid and it would be the same.

mac sells a larger palette that holds 15 eyeshadows (if you take off the plastic insert/divider thingie, , it'll hold 26) you can find it at all mac stores (regular and pro, just not counters)

Honestly to me Chignon is the most pigmented glaze I've tried. Yes, you have to apply it more heavily than some other finishes but when all is said and done *on my lips* it ends up like one of the more opaque lustres. I suggest you give it a try because it really is a pretty color.

The frostiness of B-babe is in between that of tanarama and angel, leaning more towards angel. What a Do looked considerably more frosty than B-babe to me, but lighting can play a role in perception of frostiness.

You can go wrong with the sheer lipsticks if you have pigmented lips.

The saddest part about Copperplate is that it's not grey on me... a lovely taupe, but not grey. I still

Henna is really, really, ridiculously close to those other two colours. Plus, if you blend them together, BAM! Henna. Unless you wear those colours ALLLLL the time, you probably don't need Henna.

The payoff of Chignon is pretty decent for a glaze, and I'm completely blanking on the name of the colour it reminded me of.

The Play off on Chignon was horrid on my lips...I had to apply 3-4 layers to get it to look even close to the tube color...so it depends on your lip pigment....

I'm headed out to check out BBR soon, I was going to wait until tomorrow but I can't do it...
...especially because I received my GST cheque from the Ontario gov't today! It's like meant to be that I go today with $60 extra dollars.

That means I can get more than one msf which makes me so happy.

My list right now is:
Redhead msf
Blonde msf
Marquise d' l/s
Femme Fi e/s
226 brush
maybe Red Devil l/g.

So let's see if I stick with that!
