MAC By Request discussion

I just had a live chat with MAC UK and I understand that MAC by Request will come out in October? I thought it would be released in August. Would be a shame if I missed out. I really want Moxie, Rocker and Candy Yum Yum, along with Guacamole, Moth Brown, Jete and last but not least, Cult of Cherry lipglass. Oh well, if it launches in October, it will probably launch along with the Marilyn collection. Then I can score all in one go

It indeed gets released in august but for North America, and fall 2012 for international. Us Europeans will probably get it in october then :)

Thanks for letting us know. I'm glad it's not August as we'll be away and I'd hate to miss out. No doubt things will sell out in about one day as it's an online only collection.

For those asking it is a blood red not an orange red at all. It is beautiful on just about all complexions from pasty pale like mine to the darkest of our lovely WOC.

If the "leak" is correct I will skip all MM reds in exchange for b/u Rocker. (And I hope it is correct as I am down to my last 2 tubes).

It's four items, though if you place multiple orders, you can certainly order more than four.

In the picture of the blog, there are a lot of mac shadows swatched. Among them Moth brown and it looks quite a lot like earthly riches, which i have and like but don`t really use ( maybe 3x year) so I don`t know, I think i`ll stick with jete ( i use way more lighter colors) and the lipsticks

Nawww I think those swatches are pretty poor. You should check out Temptalia's swatches of the e/s here: http://www.temptalia.com/mac-by-request-eyeshadows-review-photos-swatches

I know Genn! The lipsticks being released are too bright for me...boo! Oh well, money saved right? Yeah, I don't Believe me either lol

Same, the lipsticks are totally unwearable for me! I wish 3n had won. :( Looks so pretty.
