MAC - Chill Collection Discussion

Well, I'm still pretty much a MAC "newbie" so my color range isn't that broad yet. So, most colors, I probably don't have anything just like it lol. Even though I just ordered Wintersky e/s and Frozen Dream l/g on Tuesday, I just ordered Vellum and Arctic Grey e/s and Snowscene l/g, plusa Mink & Sable e/s 'cause I've been wanting to try a Starflash e/s for a while and I needed $7 more to get free shipping lol.

So, I have NO greys whatsoever. I hope it looks good on me!

^^ Speaking of greys..I'm wearing smoke and diamonds on my lids today, carbon in the crease and vellum as a highlight...its smokalicious..lol..

color is brought out by capillary action from the pen through the felt tip. contaminants would likely stay on the surface, or if pressed into the felt, would likely come out as the color is drawn through the felt and transferred to a surface.

i suppose wiping the tip over a disinfectant wipe will allow the color transfer to "push" the contaminants over to the wipe, and some of the disinfectant solution will likely be transferred to the felt tip killing the microorganisms still present.

Seriously though, I was completely uninspired this morning to do my makeup....and then I seen my little ol smoke and diamonds collecting dust in the corner of my pan and decided, hey lets make it a smokey thursday ...now if only I had a darker grey to add to the blend (maybe knights divine) It would of really been heaven..oh that and falsies would of bee great if I had time!! LOL..the Chill ones..haha..and then on my lips I wore modesty creem sheen and babysparks dazzleglass...I was quite happy with the way it turned out..

Well, I was kinda good, I only ordered Snowscene l/g. Its been calling my name since I saw the first swatches & I finally caved.

I got it in my second-ever MAC haul, along with Electra. It's so pretty and smooth. I definitely find it has a bit of a blue hue to it, though. But stilllll... If you enjoy things in the grey family, you should own it some day.

I was going to pass this collection up but now I want the pink Wintersky e/s, the frosty grey e/s (arctic grey or something), possibly Vellum e/s, Ice-something pink l/g and Naked Frost l/g. Phew. Oh, and the liner. We'll see... I'll probably change my mind again.

same here so if I have the funds I'm pretty much up to buying all the e/s.. that is if they look good on me when I swatch them.

Greys are fabulous, but the ones here seem so sheer and... bleh. Seriously, though, I don't know why one would choose these when there are smoother, more pigmented grey shadows available?
