^^Aww, I know...unfortunately I am ISOLATED in my "hell" town and MAC is 8 hours away!! But next time I go, I'm setting aside a whole morning JUST at mac..lol..

I was at the mall today and noticed Prescriptives has a lipgloss with their aglow collection (cool) I think it was Icy, Im not too sure but it has blue and purple flecks in it.sooooo pretty. I was wondering if Snowscene is anything like it? If anyone has seen the two to compare?? (Also their quads are very similar to MAC perm colors if anyone was interested, the cool one has a definite Beauty Marked dupe there is also Twinkle in that quad which is a dark grey with glitter. )

So guys, I saw the collection.
Heres my opinion.


Eyeshadows:
They are BLAH.
Apres Ski was the one I was most excited about but the color payoff is NONE. So, I bought Copperplate which is a close dupe from the perm line.
Mont Black is your typical MAC black, the sparkles go bye bye when you apply it.
Arctic Grey is a beauty but a lustre. I hate lustres.
Wintersky was probably my fav, its a beautiful frosty pink, but I didnt get it because I don't use pinks often enough.
Vellum is a beautiful beautiful shadow that I already own and have hit the pan on. Its a frosty white with blue and violet reflects, its perfect for a blue look, a purple look, or even a pink look. Lovely shadow. Its perm at the pro store though so don't go crazy, you can get it in the long run.

The shadows in this collection DO NOT have good payoff. In my opinion.

Lipglasses:
They are all GORGEOUS, Frozen Dream reminds me of pink pearl pigment without the blue reflects, its beautiful.
Snowscene!!! Omg, I bought this, it was amaaaazing. Its got great duochrome pearls in it. If you put this over a pink lippy you could create your own lollipop lovin lipstick. It has the same kind of sheen. Its perfect because sinces its white-ish you can wear it over anything!
Icescape is very pretty but in my opinion MACs come up with that color a million tmes before.
Naked Frost is great too, the lippies were my fav thing in this collection.

OTHER:
The lashes are perm, so don't go crazy.
The glitters are perm pro - I love reflects teal, Ive owned it for years.
I have reflects antique gold but I never use it, but it is beautifull.
The pen liner was the greatest thing in this collection. Its perm so dont feel like you have to get it now, but it is a beauty.


All and all I ended up buying Snowscene l/g and the Penultimate liner. (and Copperplate eyeshadow)

I just picked up a few things today:

Apres-Ski
Arctic Grey
Winter Sky
Icescape Lip Glass

some thoughts:
The other lipglasses REALLY DID NOT impress me. The tan one reminded me of MAD CAP Lipglass which I HATED,

and snowscene was too similar too Sugarrimmed D/G and a girls gotta try to save $$
somehow, so I neglected it

. The Shadows as you can see by my purchase I quite liked. Not so much vellum though, I always found white shades with blue irridesence really annoying to look at. especially on my yellow toned skin (NC25). Im sure it's beautiful on NW ladies. Mont Black was basically black tied but with gold glitter. THE SAME. The Liner.....well......I dont heart straight up black liner so I wasn't tempted, hence why I got Blitz and glitz instead.

I wanted more stuff because I'm greedy like that and wasnt really feeling the rest of this collection so I threw in Speed Dial CremeSheen and Blitz and Glitz Fluidline ( which I think may look really great paired with these shadows)

I know most are underwhelmed by this collection, but I really appreciate it's simplicity. I love my makeup SOFT and GLOWY so this was up my alley.

For those wondering about Da Bling being similar to Wintersky, it isn't at all. Da Bling is much warmer. Here's a swatch.

Also, I tried to find the closest thing to Arctic Grey, which I find very unusual... and could only come up with Vex, which as you can see, is much lighter.

The website labels it a Satin, but my shadow reads, "Lustre."

I hate Lustres, but when I was in the store, thinking it was a Satin, I actually liked it. I didn't notice much fallout or anything. It seemed like a Satin to me.

Now I can see it is labeled a Lustre. But it goes on better than a Lustre and seems more creamy.

The MAC website doesn't list any of the shadows as lustres. Lustres aren't my favorite finish either, so I am hoping they aren't lying on the website.
