I've been trying to resist Pincurl, but I'm a jellyfish when it comes to gray eyeshadows; I LOVE them, and wear them all the blinkin' time!
Don't spare me: Will I eventually despise myself if I pass on Pincurl?

I don't think you'll eventually despise yourself. It's very pale and very sheer, and I have to pile it on to see the grey without a grey base underneath to add colour. If you have a soft pale grey already (possibly a more pigmented one...), you can layer it under seedy pearl and BAM! It's like a better version of Pincurl. I don't think I would have spent the cash on this one (I got it through B2M); it's pretty, but not something that thrills me enough to spend $19.21 on ($17+tax).

Did this collection just get restocked? All the lipglasses are being shown as in stock... the ebay people really need to stop selling snowscene for $34.

you know what i would really LOVE to see?

a penultimate liner in a hot violet shade (like the pigmentation of Violet Trance from the Pandamonium quad)! It'd be LOVE at first application!

I finally had the time to pay a visit to my MAC corner, they recieved chill and dame edna last week.. I bought snowscene and icescape that they saved for me. My MA applied snowscene and then a little russian red l/s to the inner middle part of my lips, my lips popped up literally and it was awesome

I still really want the Penultimate liner....unfortunately, the Macy's counter I was able to get to yesterday was out of it :-(.....hopefully, my free-standing store has it in stock and I can pick it up when I go to work on Sunday....I know it's going to be a permanent item, but I still want to try it already!

In what sense is it not working for you? I really wanted to love it too, but it doesn't stay put on my oily-as-hell lids.

First I was doing to get all the l/g's but because as a student I have to really save money to get anything nice and since BBR is just around the corner I only got Icescape from this coll.

If you couldn't get Snowscene, or are already out, I've come up with what I think is a pretty decent dupe.
You'll need MAC Lustrewhite gloss, and Diamond shimmer (click on "Pigments," which is the leftmost brush/tab on the home page, then on blacks/whites, second from right on lower row)from Taylor Made Minerals.
If you dip your Lustrewhite brush into Diamonds, then dot it on your lips, then spread with a clean lip brush, you'll get a colorless sparkly effect that is fairly similar to Snowscene.
Not identical, I must admit, but if you're desperate, "pretty close" can be satisfying.

and now I caved in again anf just ordered snowscene from ebay and I was supposed to save my money for BBR. i'm happy but sad, having mixed feelings right now.
