My order came today
I got Cheeky Bronze
Smooth Merge
Improvise
and Hand Finish
i've already decided i loveeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee Hand Finish i've got it on and it's gorgeous!!
However Miss Winnie has enabled me into getting a gloss so i'll be ordering one tomorrow when i get paid.
Now i just need to decide which one i want.
I might chuck in the brush while i'm at it aswell haha

I finally got to check out the blushes and the #131 today.

I thought Cheek and Cheerful was very pretty, but it's quite similar to Cheeky Bronze. What surprised me was that Cheek and Cheerful had much more sheen to it than Cheeky Bronze.

Fadabulous reminded me more of one of the lighter stripes of Brunette MSF than Hot Planet MB. I may be wrong though, since I didn't personally see comparison swatches side by side.

Hand Finish is gorgeous, but I don't know if it'll be too light for me.

Improvise kind of reminds me of Fun & Games BPB.

Pretty, but not a must-have.

Daft Pink is the one I already own, I love it, it is a very pretty pink blush that doesn't look overly done on my cheeks.

It does show up on me (NC35) even without having to layer it on a lot.

Style Demon is nice, but not as red as I thought it would be. I will be going back for this.

I saw the #131, but hmm, wasn't too impressed by it. It seems rather flat, and the shape looks a bit like The Body Shop's blush brush.

I tried on Madly Creative and Made With Love lippies too.

Madly Creative hardly showed up on my pigmented lips, but the sheen of it is quite obvious; I think it will look nice when topped with lipgloss, but I probably won't wear it solo.

Made With Love was surprisingly pigmented. A very pretty color, it went on much darker on my lips than I had anticipated (I thought it would be a bright 'pop' color). However, I don't think it's a terribly unique shade. It's a nice to have, but not a must have, IMO.

And that about sums up my quick 15min pitstop at the MAC counter.

I didn't buy anything since I'm really broke and nothing were "must-haves" for me, I'll be going back another time to grab the rest of my haul.

I tried Smooth Merge today and so far, the middle stripe is divine and I put the lighter pink as a highlight. The middle stripe is not all that glittery but the rest is. But i went over my cheeks with scotch tape and that got rid of the glitter but kept the color. So if I have to work at, so be it. I am keeping this one.

I haven't enabled anyone in a really really long time.

As for which gloss you should get, I think it depends entirely on your preference. Hopefully you will get one that you'll love and use it often enough to do it justice. Don't buy a shade just because it looks pretty but never get around to using it.

By the way, by any chance is PP similar to Blonde? I have Blonde and wudn't want something that look like it anymore. Am worried if PP is.

SBN was actually more of a bronzer than Cheeky Bronze was on me. Cheeky Bronze is a nice, peach color on me. SBN looks like one of a billion bronzer I already have and trust me, I don't need another bronzer!!!

But, if you don't have a ton of bronzer, you will think it is nice.

Assemblage sucks ass. Don't buy it.

Cheeky bronze reminded me of Eversun, Sunbasque and all the other peach blushes I have...on my skintone...that is the only reason I skipped it...I think all colors are subject to personal skintone so it is really best to try them if you can...what looks great on one may not work for another ...Just IMO...

I might hate it and the next person may love it and vice versa.....I have missed out on a lot of things going off others opinions...so I try to really view all collections for myself in the end

Is Improvise a more pigmented version of Fun n Games??? Because I REALLY love the shade of Fun n Games but it was a purchase that I totally regret because it's sooooo sheer and I'm only a NC25!!
Otherwise I'll go only for Cheek and Cheerful! Hope it's not too similar to Nuance and Sunbasque!

That's really petty on you! The peach shows up great on your skintone

As for PP being similar to Blonde.. I don't think it is... I have blonde and I am going to get PP. It is lighter, more of a baby pink and Blonde is more of a brighter pink and more pigmented if that makes sense.

Wow Cheeky Bronze sure looks great on you! So peachy! The color doesn't show up like that on me though.

And no, PP is nothing like Blonde.

For one, the color is waaaay lighter.

Weird that Fun & Games doesn't show up on you, it works fine on me and I'm NC35.

I'm not sure exactly how close F&G and Improvise are since I didn't have them side by side for comparison, but my guess would be that they're in the same color family.

F&G would be more peachy while Improvise is more corally. Perhaps someone who has both can do swatches for us.

I don't think Cheek and Cheerful is similar to Sunbasque, at least not on my skintone. It might be similar to Nuance though, but my guess is that Nuance would be slightly browner than Cheek & Cheerful (I don't have the products mentioned, but I have Cheeky Bronze and Earth To Earth, which are 'dupes' of them).

The lipstick I bought is "Madly Creative" and I love it with every beat of my heart. If you don't like sheer lippies, you'll hate it. But it is almost up there with my love for Politely Pink. Totally different colors, but my love is almost the same.

Did I mention that Assemblage sucks ass?

Warm Blend looks so pretty though, but I know it'll be too dark for me!
