You know, i really miss Mac_Whore posting in these threads

I know she has the blog, but it's just not the same. She always had some crazy funny thing to say. And, I always had to know what she got from a collection.

I know exactly how this is gonna go down too! She isn't gettin' it now, but you wait.

Just how it'll happen - the different scenarios are many, but the end result will be that the #131 will mysteriously end up next to Tish's #165 and #189 brushes.

i'm going to be skipping the blushes and striped-MSFs.. I plan on getting only two of the marbled MSFs - Sunny By Nature and either cheeky bronze or PP. and the face brush of course
smiles.gif

I've read cheeky bronze is really shimmery.. how does porcelain pink compare? is it very shimmery as well? I'm kind of leaning towards cheeky bronze because of the color but i'm scared of the heavy shimmer

I also tried the 131. It's actually a really good brush. Because of it's shape, I can use it on an angle instead of using the tip like I do with my 188, which makes for better blending and buffing. And it's sooo soft!

Poo...Poo...On the Smooth Merge front! Have you tried layering it over a matte or satin blush like Cubic or something?

With respect to your explanation on the merits of the #131...I couldn't have articulated that any better. That's exactly why I'm smitten with it!

Ok....true....However the question WAS do I think it is an absolute must.....I don't....But 70% of my brushes are not a absolute must...however I still have them....

Ok for clairty ...I think the 131 is a great brush...do I think it is a absolute must as asked...No I don't....Should you get it if you think it is a absolute must, YES, should you get it even if you don't think it is a absolute must, depends on personal finances...and personal needs...just do not feel pressured because others personally feel it is a Absolute must for them.

All better

Thanks Tish for clarifying that
smiles.gif
However, I think I really am going to skip it...in times past I would not have considered passing on this brush, but I am trying to wean my self from addiction

I just have too much makeup, it's giving me a headache I swear!

^^ I know...it can be too much and overwhelming after a certain point....I am pretty close to where you are....so I am being very selective as of late as to pieces I buy....

I am so there with the headache. I have so much makeup, I can pick out what I am wearing tommorrow in 15 minutes but because I am trying to use stuff that hasn't been touched or cycled through, it has taken me 45 minutes to figure out e/s, cheeks and lips, ridonkolous.

Awe....Tish you didn't have to clarify - I knew where you were coming from. I'm just teasin' ya!
tong.gif

Trust me...I've recently just bought a few brushes and I'm now having a weird case of buyers remorse! Trying to figure out what in the world to do with them; #227, #228.

I'm pressured by the idea that MAC discontinues brushes without notice so my desire to "Get them All" is a menace!

I know I'll use the #227 to apply an all over sweep/wash of pigment to the eye area, but it's not as soft as I'd LOVE that brush to be.

The #228 I may actually use as a Lip brush, but definitely as a detail brush for highlight to the middle of the eyelids.
th_dunno.gif

I actually think the #189's that you love are perfect for MSF's because they really pick up product very well. I love that brush too.

What this has to do with Colour Craft? Well I kept staring at MAC as I was walking into Circuit City earlier. I stayed strong and didn't go back... but I still want to. I'm hiding from more MES and the Graphic Garden collection. They are pretty and I must resist, MAC is not the borg, and resistance is NOT futile....

(Oh and I made my dad go see Star Trek movie at the Imax today... how I heart vacations, despite the rain that drenched me)

I almost went back to the MAC store the same day that I B2Md for two lipglasses. My sister told me not to go in there again. I did that when I went to the CCO.

I must admit all i did today was apply it on its own. It was just too sparkly, and I do not shy away from shimmer! I tried to buff in some loose powder to see if I could tone down the shimmer, but it didn't do a thing! I will try it tomorrow over a blush without shimmer, but so far, not too impressed.

I have to say that I am also one of the ones that didnt like Smooth Merge....I actually returned it and got another Nice Mix Up. The bottom portion was a chunky mess and the middle raspberry strip didnt even show up! I did how ever like the top part, the soft pinkish color. That part was smooth city! If MAC made a whole MSF like that i'd be all over it!!!!!

Damn you all!! I'm sitting there in the ICU for 12 hrs today "babysitting" my stable patient, bored, watching the rain come down out the far window, and all I could think of was Colour craft and all the stuff I am still lemming. I have 1 MSF 2 MES 4 MB from this collection, and I'm second guessing my decision to get all the stuff I left behind. Somebody stop me!!

I have to be up in 6.5 hrs to go back to work so I'm only going to be her a few mins, just had to blame you all for my lemmings :p

I hope my assignment is more exciting tomorrow or I might poke my eyeballs out from boredom.
