For those of you debating on Smooth Merge, I don't want to enable you or anything but it's AWESOME! I don't think you can go wrong with it

The 3 stripes are all beautiful on their own, or together they make a really pretty color too

My little sis gave me Natural Flare yesterday for my b-day!!! The colors are GORGEOUS in the pan, but I am having trouble getting them to show up the same way on my eyes

The orange shade was very hard to get to show up. The MA at the Macy's counter had 2 of the colors on and it looked amazing on her! She said she just had paintery pp underneath (I used the Urban decay primer but it's almost gone so I barely had any on) so maybe I will try that. Markeesi, I actually didn't have as much fallout as I was expecting. The lighter gold color actually hardly had any, and same with the darker brown. I used a 242 brush. What brushes are you ladies using with these MES's?

I don't live in the central area as well, but my son attends a school off Orchard and as I drop him and pick him I'm pretty much everyday there, but he's still on holiday now so we don't go there often.

Well maybe later I'll go to Vivocity, I'll go and have a look there!

DFS doesn't have the full collection yet though, they've only got the non-striped MSFs and the brush. And Daft Pink and Improvise, but they've sold out already, not sure if they'll have a restock of those 2.

I use 239, 217, 224. And either soft ochre or rubensque p/p, or both together, and the colors show up nicely.

I'm super pissed that my package got delayed until Monday...all because it spent a stupid extra day in Maryland.

Now I won't get to play until next Thursday evening because I leave for Colorado Sunday morning. Effing UPS...

Thanks, will have to try the 217 and 224... I only have the small 239SE and mine is really weird- the bottom comes to a point

So I don't really use it.

I already have Soft Orche so I will try that! Thanks again!

Hi, girls! I'm a new user with 2 doubts:

I have Deep Throat and Luster, from Nars, and I think Hand-Finish and Improvise is similar. Maybe?

I'm NC20/25, brown hair and blue eyes. Do you think Daft Pink could suit me? I'm crazy about this color. And Hand-Finish? Help, please

And sorry my poor english, I'm brazilian.

I went to Macy's this afternoon and got Smooth Merge! I looooove it! It's so pretty, I don't want to wash my face. My mua suggested to use Harmony or some type of bronzer for contour to tone it down a bit. I love how they look together! I already have Harmony so I hope I will be able to recreate this look.

The colours showed up on me fine without any base, so maybe your problem was with the brushes
th_dunno.gif
I used 239 and 217.

I had fallout with both of the lighter colours, orange and brown were fine though. I wasn't wearing any eye shadow base yesterday and I'm gonna try again today with UDPP or a Paint Pot and Fix+ to see if there's less fallout that way.

I think both Daft Pink and Hand-Finish would suit you (Daft Pink is on the cool side, but it's sheer so it's wearable, and it looks warmer on cheeks than in the pan) but you may not NEED the latter because you have the Nars blushes. WANT? That might be another story... I'm kind of wanting H-F myself

I'm a different shade than you, but I have NARS Luster and now Improvise and I don't think the two are similar. Luster's got more of a peachy-golden thing going on whereas Improvise is more coral. Hope that helped some.

After seeing this collection in person, I can say that they MEs sorta suck. I'm the kind of person that can make pretty much any eyeshadow work, but OMG! Girlish Romp was full of fall out, colors didn't wanna show up even after trying Shadesticks, Paint Pots and Pigments as bases, Eccentricity was a bit better though. Sorta sucks cause these were what I was most excited about.

The testers for the lipglasses had the applicator pulled off and even then, I had to yank them out of the tube, the colors were so gorgeous though, so I couldn't resist getting Eclectic Edge, probably would have also gotten Miss Marble, Funky Fusion, Crazy Haute and Nice Mix Up if it wasn't for the tube.

I didn't like most of the MSFs, only Smooth Merge and Triple Fusion were pretty and both are quite pigmented. The others didn't seem very unique, and Porcelain Pink, I put so much of this on my hand and couldn't see it AT ALL! And I'm quite pale, probably NW15 or somewhere around there.

The mineralized blushes were so gorgeous, I was very close to getting Daft Pink and Improvise, but talked myself into only getting Hand Finish. I think these are a must have!

Most of the lipsticks, I didn't find to be very pretty or unique. I used to want Made With Love and Madly Creative but thought they were a bit boring in person. Trimming Talk and Colour Crafted were very pretty though, already have Most Popular from Hello Kitty and didn't like Ever Embellish to begin with.

Saw nothing special about the 130 brush, could find something just as good or even better in the perm line, I'm sure. However, I fell in love with the 226 brush, and the 239 that they had out to swatch eyeshadows. Too bad I agreed to not buy any MAC brushes, at least until I get my want list down a good bit (it's over 100 items).

I personally love Hand Finish, I'm also in the same colour range as you, and this one was more flattering on me than Daft Pink (though I got both). Hand Finish has a really pretty glow to it, much different imo than Deep Throat, which on me was really peachy.
