Let me know what you get in the end!

I disagree. I think the blushes are pigmented enough. For those that seem sheer, the intensity is definitely buildable. And I doubt Improvise will work as a highlighter, it's definitely blush material if you're of about the same skintone as me (NC35).

I don't think I will be getting Madly Creative as well. My pigmented lips didn't like it.

Ditto about the frosts, but there certainly some exceptions, and Purple Rite is one of them.

well the thing with mes blushes is i would not want to build them up and have my cheeks look like discoballs =.= i do have some mes blushes and they act as toppers for me. not as actually blushes. i am nc25 and i still have to really pack on fun and games. i'd only use improvise to top my blushes due to the shiny nature of the mineralize blushes.

then again, i am biased to sparkly blushes...... anything very sparkly will be highlighers to me. keke. thats why i passed on those grand duos. too sparkly for me.

i have oily skin. so i really have to be careful =S

though my eyes welcome all the shiney goodness. so we all have our own reasons.

helloooooooo starflash!

ps. i love smooth merge <3

I have oily skin too, make that super duper oily while we're at it. But I still love shiny blushes. I just blot a lot, that's all. Nothing can make my cheeks pop more than blushes/MSFs that have a sheen to them.

ok, so I am back from MAC with my two MES - Assemblage and Natural Flare.

I also came back with a truckload of info on the Holiday collections which has been posted in the Early Buzz thread

I'm having second thoughts about the mineralize blushes! I don't know if I want one or two of them. Also, I'm for sure am getting Warm Blend MSF!

I finally decided to purchase something from this collection. I just could not skip it completely. I picked up the 131 brush and Cheeky Bronze MSF.

Just realised that I didnt mention that my store was sold out of Warm Blend MSF yesterday when I went in to pick up my goodies.

And it was only the 2nd day after launch!

So, I *finally* received Warm Blend msf and Colour Crafted l/s in the mail...WB is definitely dark! I didn't use a light hand when applying it and it looked really dark and muddy on me. But after blending it out a little with some powder it looks much better. I will remember to use a lighter hand next time

Colour Crafted l/s is better than I had hoped! It is such a pretty pink. I had a hard time figuring out how it would look via the swatches so I'm super pleased that I got it- it is like a softer, more wearable Melrose Mood/St. Germain. Loves it!

No, it wasnt on my "buy immediately" list, but I was definately interested in swatching it to see what it would be like as an eyeshadow and I loved it for this purpose! The texture was gorgeous

I'm not too heartbroken though, I will keep an eye out in the clearance bin and if I really want it at that point in time then I might get it.

I'm not sure that I'm lemming it enough yet though, and I have IMATS coming up in September too!

I'm so bummed I didn't check Color Crafted out in person when I went and bought Smooth Merge right away. I didn't get to a MAC til today, and my counter was sold out, and of course they've been sold out online. Now I'm debating whether I should at least by "A Rose Romance" before it's gone. I love that l/s, but I've never bought a back up of anything, and I'm trying to stay strong! Color Crafted sounds gorgeous though. Glad to hear you like it

Sorry but I just reapplied CC l/s and I have no idea how I didn't get this sooner! It is divine. I just might need a b/u of this bad boy.

Yea, definitely check it out! The only thing I'm not too fond of is the fact that it's a frost, b/c frosts often look a little funny on my lips. It's like they look scaley or something?

I don't notice it much with other finishes.
