I really liked the Colour Form powders. I ended up pre-ordering Sun Centered, I think they are on the light side to be blushes. I think most of the Richmetal Highlighters would be good cream blushes!

Thanks. I'm disappointed to hear that, although the Holiday brushes are pretty, mine have started to crack, while the ones from Tailormade still look good, I was hoping to add more brushes to the Tailormade set.

I’m still going to get them and the blushes (I’m not crazy about the other items).

I think Revved Up is going to be a little more cool-toned/blue pink rosy, while Royal Flush is more red and a little more warm (or at least neutral.) Hopefully someone will swatch them together, though. If no one's done it by the next time I'm near the counter, I'll try to remember to do it.

So I totally take that back. I must've missed the memo about Revved Up being pretty much like sand, so it doesn't spread softly and easily like Royal Flush does. There's more supermicroglitter in Revved Up, while Royal Flush has more of a soft sheen with very subtle sparkle. I do think Royal Flush is a bit more warm (might have a smidge more brown or less blue) versus Revved Up and Accent Red, too. I found the Kleenex I used to swatch on yesterday (to see what some of the colors looked like against a white background- seemed like a good idea at the time

), so I did do comps with Gilded Green and Royal Flush again. I should have the pics uploaded to the swatch thread in a little while.

Yet again, MAC has made me crazy.

I would love to get Gilded Green, but I will go to a pro store in July and want to pick up some pro pigments as I don't come often there. I must pass Gilded Green as it is too expensive.

What should I get instead? Emerald Green or Chartreuse??

I have Pastoral too and I love it

Planing on getting Gilded Green too.

btw the two you mentioned, I say go for Chartreuse, i find it more versatile.

I don't know if this is old news but I went to the MAC counter at The Bay today (Richmond, BC) and they started putting out the collection for pre-orders. I only saw the e/s palettes, lip palettes and brush sets. Hopefully they'll put out the rest this week. I really want to see the powders

Oh, and for Canadians interested in the brush sets, they lowered the price by $4. The brush sets are $58 instead of $62 now

I can see Mac Whore waiting for us at the entrance of the pearly gates with Audrey and Elegant One shrouded in robes of plummage and climate blue. Mac Whore will be wearing her Red She Said gloves and holding the clipboard filled with the names of all those who did MAC wrong!! She will bitch-slap them down to a hell filled with nothing but so called "Au Naturel" beauties!!!

Gotta love PMs, eh?

Remember how I said the Richmetal Highlighters are a lot like CCBs? Well I just realized they might be close than we think.

I think the Rose Buillion Richmetal Highlighter is Soft Rose Pro CCB and I think Positive Charge Richmetal Highlighter is Antiqued Gold Pro CCB. I have Soft Rose and Antiqued Gold and they look way too similar.

Pro CCBs.

I'll post pics tomorrow.

I hope that they are similar because I need to save money where I can for other MAC items!

I REALLY like the look of Circa Plum, and Tea Time caught my eye too
smiles.gif
Royal Flush is much as I expected but I will still get it anyway, but I am not so thrilled with Gilded Green and of the 4 this is the one I like the least. I'll probably still get it anyway and see for myself - after all I was definitely not into Lark About but after playing with it in person I was more than impressed

I am also really wanting Rose Go Round....lol...very sad, I have sooooo many red lipsticks I just cant kill the compulsion....LOLOL!!

I have decided that if I get anything from this collection, it will be Gilded Green Pigment and that's it. I am going to pass on the Colour Forms powders for the Sonic Chic blushes, since they don't sound dark enough to use as a blush, and I will pass on these lipsticks so that I can get the ones from Electroflash instead. I hate having to be so choosy...

Good for you! I hate having to be choosy as well. I wish that pigments came in a smaller size because I like some of the colors but I don't want a WHOLE jar. I think that I am going to get some pigment samples from one of the sellers on here and just get the pink color form powder because it looks so pretty. I really think that I will be ok skipping everything else from this collection.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

i ended up seeing the collection today when i went to the mall since they have it out for people to see so that they can pre-order. i ended up pre-ordering 3 of the richmetal highlighters : Female, Quick Flash, and Dark Influence. Rose Bullion was gorgeous but i dont use pinks very often so i passed. Female has a gorgeous white-ish gold duochrome effect on my skin. Quick Flash is a light gold with pretty sparkles!!
I also pre-ordered Royal Flush, Tea-Time and Gilded Green.
Im kind of iffy about the first two because i dont use a chocolatey brown with sparkles but i'll see. Royal Flush is a pretty frosty red but i dont use that color that often but i know i will probably regret it if i pass it up. Gilded Green reminded me of a very frosty version of newly minted but slightly lighter. Circa Plum was a gorgeous frosty lavender color but im not much of a purple eye shadow person. im hoping that i can convince myself that i dont need one of the pigments but i doubt it.
The purple richmetal highlighter looks like it can be a good base for eye shadow as do some of the others.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

My counter has the collection out for preorder and everything looks gorgeous! I was underwhelmed in person by all of the lipsticks so I will cave and more than likely get the warm lips palette since I really want Oh Garnet! lippie. The pigments are like a giant lure. Too bad I only saw it as I was walking by after work tonight.

I can understand you are in trouble if all collections come out so close together...
I am saving money for all these collections since weeks and don't want to pass anything.
From Colour Forms I want the powders, the brush sets and the cool eye palette. I will pass the piggies from Colour Forms and get some pro ones.

I hope I can organize my wishlists and my money

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

A MAC counter in Singapore was unpacking these and I had to look and play! While everything looked very pretty, I was pragmatic and ended up getting only Tea Time (and a Sweet Sienna pigment - they still have them!). I was quite disappointed with the Richmetal highlighters - I was interested in checking out Rose Buillion but they didn't have that. The mosaic powders looked nice but went on a bit too sheer. The lipsticks were definitely too sheer for my liking.

There were so many palettes and colourful bags, but I'm not into palettes at all, so passed those up. Also didn't really look at the brush sets, I hear they're not as good as the individual brushes.

Oh, and Jardin Aires pigment. I didn't get it first time round, it looks promising, but it's not a "absolute must-have." (ie. low priority!)
