Yeah I like the shorter handles a little better. And since I don't have the greatest eyesight it's hard to get close to the mirror with a long brush sometimes. Good thing the end of the brush is soft or I'd have lost an eye by now!
tong.gif
And they usually look prettier, so that's always a plus.

And since we're talking about tendertones... they are great (I actually haven't received mine yet - it's in the mail lol - but I know I'll love it). I totally want Sweet Tooth now. I wonder if the stores still have it...

One of my Nordies said that Jardin Aires didn't sell well at all

Yeah. Do they think we are going to eventually change our minds or forget that it has been out forever. I am curious if it going they will try to push it hard at Nordies.

A lil' something like, "if you are looking for a neutral from this collection, I would go with Jardin Aires".

i know exactly what you mean! i wear -8.5 glasses
ssad.gif
with long handle brushes, i either cannot see anything or poking the mirror with brush handles. sigh... i wish mac makes short handle versions of all their brushes. the ones from brush sets aren't nearly as good as the full size ones

Hmmm I think they've pushed it hard enough with two collections already. Seriously, there's only so many times you can repromote a product before it gets old IMO.

Ok, don't shoot me down, I know the warm eyes palette is called 'warm' for a reason, but excluding Rustic, do you think that it would suit a NW15 gal? I'm going crazy over Rolled Gold!

Oh, and they have a neutral lips palette - why don't they have a neutral eye palette!!

I like Jardin Aires - it's a gorgeous neutral. The texture isn't fantastic, but the color more than makes up for it. If they made a bunch from a previous collection, I can see why they might re-promote it to get rid of the stock. People always complain when they miss a color and it never gets re-promoted. I do agree that they should change it up a bit, though. Re-promote something different that was popular like Coco, Coco Beach or All Girl.

Coco, Coco Beach, Subtle or All-girl

. Now that's what I talking about. They were before my addiction got rekindled. so I don't have them.

I went today at Nordstrom to see the collection finally
smiles.gif
So i pre-ordered the advanced brush set in green - the green color is very cute
drools.gif
.I don't have any SE so i cant say anything specific, but they are very soft and looks great. Because i don't have too much lipsticks i got also Naked to the Core and Pop Circle -the colors are amazing and they are super creamy
pompom.gif
I decided to skip the powders for now i think i will get more blushes from the Sonic Chic collection.

i like it too. i actually mix it with my lotion and apply everywhere but my face. i wore it to work one day, and a customer asked me what lotion i was wearing. she bought a jar of jardin aires because she liked how it looked.

I was wondering, the MAC at Nordies is a counter right? So I would only be able to b2m for lipsticks right?

A year later, if you decide you're bored of it, you can always sell it, and I'm sure it will be hot property by then.

I do like my Tea Time....I know it looks so blah in the pot, like soil (LOL), but I love how it looks on me, and I know it's a colour I'll always use and go back to.

Lippies from the regular line, yes, but for the Colour Form lippies - no. Since the Colour Form lippies are in special packaging, I don't think you can b2m for those.
This is what I have always been told any ways.

Do you girls think that colour forms is going to be popular enough that I should go and preorder it? Don't feel like driving over to the counter just yet =(

I don't know why I'm not with everyone here on the shorter handle brushes. I just don't think the actual brush is always the same quality as the longer handled ones.

Re: Colour Forms Collection Discussion Thread

Got to see the collection today - wheee! They didn't have everything out, just the palettes. I know I'll be getting enough birthday cash for half a Warm Eyes palette so maybe I'll just plunge for that. Does anyone else think that Rolled Gold looks like Cash Flow?
drools.gif

The Cool Eyes palette I first thought looked a bit chalky but it started to grow on me. Spot Colour's a lustre but I loved the colour payoff. Blue Spill's biggest plus for me is that it's not like Fontainbleu
yucky.gif
which was chalky, sheer and hard to blend.

And the brushes are as soft as everyone says! All I want is the shader brush so I'll be passing on those but I keep thinking about someone's remark of how the bags look like lunch bags... I wouldn't mind getting a set just so I could have a MAC lunchbag!
tong.gif
And the cases they come with are neat cuz I know the brushes wouldn't get bent out of shape in my purse.

I didn't test the lip palettes buuuuuuut.... with Flash of Flesh being reformulated ('twas my 2nd lipglass!)... I pre-ordered the Warm Lips and Warm Eyes because until July 11th, I can always cancel, right? At least I've got it on reserve....Augh, I really shouldn't have walked in but I was in the area and couldn't help myself!

Someone just tell me that Vintage Gold and Rolled Gold are essentially the same thing.. *groan*...
