Thanks for the help. I might try this on one I don't use that much (ochre style, here I come). I have screwed up so many while trying to pry them out. I've only done the flat-iron method (I've got the burnt fingers to prove it). If I can melt the plastic with a hairdryer, I will go to town!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you might want to try the alcohol method if the hair dryer doesn't work out (it didn't for me). no melting plastic is always a good sign

You know what I was just thinking about? How sucky the highlighter in the heatherette trio 1 is. It is so....wack. LoL oh well I have a few highlighters so i'll be okay

Omg it is, I think the lightest colors in both trios SUCK! They barely even show up!! Honestly, I was a bit diaspointed in Trio 2 in general, the color payoff of both the light pink and pink shadow were lame.

I use my flat iron w/ parchment paper, so I wouldn't ruin my $$ flat iron. But I have only "scuffed" a couple when I started to depot. I was even brave enough last night to depot my Joyous BPB, it came out perfectly!

Anyways...I am really in love w/ this collection! I just thought I would share

I did the flatiron method and got them out pretty easy (only broke 2 out of 95!). I am wishing I hadn't though because now that they are in the palettes they are so much more fragile. I carefully set one down palette down this morning and one of the shadows broke. I would NEVER travel with one of these palettes. Does anyone else find they are WAY more fragile this way or is it just me?

i think it's because mac uses aluminum pans instead steel ones. so it bends VERY easily

I blame elegant-one

Because of her, I also just picked up the 227 brush.

I have no will power and I don't care. Must have soft blendy brush.

Gah!

Re: Cool Heat Discussion

after playing with cool heat more, i am very sure that the cool heat i played with in store and the one i came home with have completely different texture. the one in store, i dunno how to describe it exactly, sorta sticky + clumpy? the one i came home with is very smooth.

i can totally picture the members of team climate blue hunting down those of us who didn't get it in like swat uniforms. and spamming our e-mails and pressuring us until we crack. lol.

Yeah, me too. I just ordered the 227, the 242, and some Studio Fix. I think I will really like the 227. It sounds like what I've been looking for.

Re: Cool Heat Discussion

to you all that ordered the 227
you wont be dissapointed
I think its a fantastic brush and its really multi purpose.

I use it a lot for blending my highlight and crease color together
ALSO if you want to do a highlight ontop of your cheek bones, like use lightscapade MSF or something, use this brush! perfect for highlighting areas of your face.

Re: Cool Heat Discussion

i love solar white!! i thought that it'd only look good on me as a highlighter but it's great as an all over lid color because of that gold!! it's prettyyy!! i wanna get a backup but i know that this will last me awhile because i have many other highlight colors and i dont always do a toned down look. but really if you dont have solar white you should get it. lol.

Re: Cool Heat Discussion

i am absolutely, positively sure that *ducks behind loveseat* i really dont like this collection. other than warm chill and solar white, the rest can go to HELL. am i the only one that feels that way? probly so. i've had mines for a week and i literally had to force myself to wear the purple one (see i dont even remember the names!) and i was completely unsatisfied. i am SERIOUSLY thinking about taking them back the first chance i get.
