Anyone else having issues with their Cool Heat eyeshadow? At first the texture was beautiful but now its starting to turn into another Big T. The surface gets really shiny and I cant get any colour pay off doesnt matter what brush I use
I have to scrape the shiny part off to get any colour

how often do you clean your brushes? it could be that oil has accumulated on your brushes then gets transferred to the e/s when you use it. i've used my cool heat e/s quite a few times and i've had no problems with color payoff or a shiny surface. hth.

I always use clean brushes thats the thing that I am so confused about. The only that doesnt give me problems is my itty bitty 228
Compared to all the other shadows from this collection Cool Heat is the hardest to work with (for me anyways). I'm gonna give another thorough cleaning and make a dedicated Cool Heat brush

thanks babe

My brushes are cleaned daily as well and I have this problem, but only with solar white...hides in the corner.

I absolutely love the color, but it is starting to turn funky on top. Perhaps I have over abused my solar white privileges?

i got mine online and it was shipped with a leaky brush cleanser, so it might have something to do with that (it was dry wen i got it though)

I did too. Most of them were really hard for me to depot because of all the glue.

Solar White, Warm Chill, Gulf Stream and Cool Heat are all sold out on the Canadian site. I'm nervous because I wanna get a backup of SW.

It's one of the few collections that sold out really well at the stores in my city. Normally the collections stick around for months after.

I am SO glad I got both SW and Femme Fi! They looked exactly the same on my hand, but very different on my eye.

Let me know if you do not get it anymore.

I will check the counter tomorrow if they have something. On the phone they
told me they might.
Altough I am not sure about Solar White. It looks very glittery. Is this the case?

TIA

Hey all! I just wanted to update on the Mehron Clown White. So sorry I haven't been around, I got incredibly busy. I figure I should post it here since that's where I talked about it. Hopefully soon I can take some with/without pics and do an experiment of it by itself.

This stuff is amazing for me though! I've been wearing it over UDPP because I haven't had the chance to try it by itself since I've been outdoors and hiking almost everyday.

It doesn't fade or crease though, a little goes a long way and the face wash that usually takes off my shadow over UDPP perfectly has a hard time trying to get rid of this. You definitely need something oil based to remove it I'd say, so I think that's a great indicator of it's longevity.

On topic, I'm still loving my Cool Heat shadows. I broke down and traded in for Climate Blue and it's been working well for me now. I even adore Solar White as a highlight, I think because I got just a touch of color so it doesn't look as "eh" as it did against my whitest of white skin. I bet those who are tanner are loving this shade. =P

Hmmm... I don't think so, going from experience, doesn't oil make the eyeshadow more buttery and pigmented? That's the case with the testers at MAC... because everyone has touched them.

I tried Climate Blue with Shore Leave from Naughty Nauticals today, and darkened up the crease/outer v with Thunder from Blue Storm. It looks so good! And I feel extra proud because although I love colour, I am very often too chicken to wear it and go for the safer browns and neutrals.
