MAC - Cool Heat Discussion

As far as applying Cool Heat, the best brush that works with it for me is the 275-I get plenty of colour that way. Also I have an ordinary Lancome brush that I got in a GWP from my mom many years ago, and that works too.

its actually the opposite. the more people touch them with their fingers, the more the oils sink in, which causes the hard, shiney surface. this causes lack of pigmentation and has to be scraped off the surface.

Good news everyone, Cool Heat has arrived in Europe

Wow, those colours are amazing. And you were right, Solar White is a nice gold colour. Not glittery at all.

Climate Blue is even more amazing then expected. Really worth it!

I was in Zurich today. They have Cool Heat, New View and Sonic Chic.
Monday I called them and asked them if they will have it already today. The MA told me they might with some luck.

Went there today and got Solar White, Warm Chill and Climate Blue.
I am really thrilled with those colours. I might get Gulf Stream, but I want to talk to my girls about them.

Are the dates not the same all over Europe?

The official release date for Germany is Saturday July 5th, but I hoped the goods would arrive earlier!

I just read Cool Heat arrived in Göteborg, but I don't know yet about Stockholm- I'd better call them tomorrow! I can't believe Sonic Chic is being released in the same time! That will make some tough decision making..

I love Solar White... it is the perfect neutral shade. I am thinking of getting a backup. I used today... Warm Chill lid, Climate Blue crease, Solar White to highlight and Blue Flame in outer v.

Warm Chill is a little hard to work with and took alot for the colour to show up but once it did... love the colour. I think it is diff than Mood Ring.

Blue Flame... love it and so pigmented. You only need a little.

Climate Blue is a little chalky but it is a beautiful colour. I used a smudger brush to apply it in my crease and that came out perfect. Really glad I got this colour... also another one that is very pigmented and don't need much.

I must be quite lucky because Warm Chill shows up on my eyelids instantly, I don't have to pack on the colour and therefor use less product and it'll last me longer. Primer or no primer, base or no base...it's such a wonderful green, my fave from the whole collection!

I was a bit surprised. I am going to try it next time with Beiging s/s or Bare Study p/p and see if it works better with that. Today I used it over UDPP.

Yeah trying different bases helps sometimes!

If you swatch it with your finger tip, is the colour different from the colour that shows on your eyelids though?
Oh and the tool of application sometimes plays a big role (i noticed this with my Vanilla pigment - if i use 239 or 217 brush it'll barely show up but if i use a sponge applicator i'll get a gorgeous golden colour).

Thanks! I am def not giving up on this colour. It is so pretty. I will try a different brush as well. I can't remember if it swatched differently or not. I will check today.

Today I got my Cool Heat haul: Solar White! Yep, girls, that´s all I bought, ONE eyeshadow, haha! But what a shadow, it´s absolutely spectacular! It will probably be my HG highlighter for as long as it lasts, or until I´ll get sick of wearing gold..
