Audrey, I've been thinking, and I've decided that MAC has to give you and erine some sort of profit share because you guys make us all buy so much more than we plan on!!

Aww, you both are too sweet! It's funny, when I get sneak peeks, I can't wait to come home and share it with you all! I find myself thinking, while I am checking things out, "so and so will love this!" Or "wait til so and so finds out about this!" No one in my family gets excited over anything MAC related, so I get all excited to share with all of my girls here

Erine's description is pretty dead on. Out of curiousity, I looked up the actual definition of Taupe on Wikipedia. Sounds like any color that doesn't lean toward a definate color family gets thrown into the Taupe category

hi everyone! i got my gentle simmer slimshine today and have posted pictures in the swatch forum if you want to check them out

gentle simmer looks very similar to funshine in the tube, but funshine is creamier with a gold pearl, whereas gentle simmer has a definite bright pearly pigment through it

on the lips though, shades like funshine and missy are much more pigmented and creamy. im a bit disappointed with the gentle simmer's colour payoff, or lack there of. that said, the pearl gives my lips an incredible, luscious, glowy shine

if funshine and missy were too bright on you, id definitely give gentle simmer a shot

please know that whilst i hoped gentle simmer had more colour payoff, this slimshine is still absolutely beautiful and im very glad i got it. perhaps this will show up better on other people

Weeee! This is the one I am SOOO excited for! I am trying to resist getting this with my Cool Heat haul since it is permanent, but I am not going to be able to. When I swatched it on my hand the other day, I was sold in an instant. It is a beautiful color! Thanks for your swatches

Even though I do go through the slimshines really quickly I just cant resist the effortlessly pretty glossy look that it gives me...and the colors are just too pretty to turn down...I will more than likely B2M and get Gentle Simmer and Tropic Glow aside from 4 of the shadows...only 10 more days...WOoO!

I saved all my B2M's for these slimshines!! I can't waitt!! My counter better exept depotted eyeshadows or I'll be onee angryy girl!
