My definites are Solar White & Cool Heat. So many raves for Solar White, I can't pass it up. I love the color of Big T, but the texture is pretty crappy so I want Cool Heat. I love greens, so I'm on the fence about Gulf Stream & Warm Chill. I think I want both. Still up in the air on Warming Trend - someone tell me why I should or shouldn't get this one? I love neutrals & I love VPs so I want it. I think its safe to say I can pass on Blue Flame & Climate Blue. I have Deep Truth & hardly use it... and I have Jeweltone which looks almost identical to Climate Blue in the swatches I've seen.

Turquatic is my FAVE MAC scent, but if THeat is so similar, I can pass. I guess I'll have to do an in-person scent test for this one

I honestly want ALL of the Slimshines, but I've gotta cut my list down to one

I have very un-pigmented lips so I like at least a little bit of color. Its a toss up between Swelter & Tropic Glow I think...

gulf stream is ALREADY sold out online? how long have they even had cool heat online? or do they sometimes put "sold out" if they haven't gotten it in stock yet? i would think they'd put coming soon. that's crazyyy

I checked about an hour after it was put online this morning and it was already sold out. I did a live chat and they said they will not be restocking gulfstream on the U.S website

Im sure hoping that they are clueless....how could something be sold out the morning of its release? I highly doubt that many people bought gulf stream, and nothign else is sold out? Come now now...somethings not right

I know! That's what I said. I tried adding it to my cart but no luck. she said it sold out quick. I think it's crazy. I'll just keep refreshing the page ...fingers crossed

No way did Gulf Stream already sell out. Wasn't there rumored production issues with this shadow? Maybe they just didn't have any of these left to be sold on the website after distribution to the stores/counters?

I just placed my order for:

-solar white
-warm chill
-cool heat
-warming trend
-high 90's
-gentle simmer
-swelter
-by degrees
my counter did get gulf stream (the lovely counter manager showed me everything last week) so i will just get that on thursday. i overnighted my goodies-yay!!!!

I did another live chat, but I forgot to copy and paste it and closed out the window to quickly. She basically dodged my question and said it sold out quick and gave me the 1800 # to call

seems ridiculous.

sigh. I was really looking forward to ordering it today.

well after counting all of my change I was 1 DOLLAR SHORT of being able to get the 4 eyeshadows I wanted. mom took care of that. I've been saving up for months...and in a moment its gone...

But I placed my order minutes ago and I got solar white, warm chill, blue flame, and cool heat!

I'm all set till starflash! This is the first time I ordered mac without having to physically see the products first! Thanks specktra!

Those live chat reps must just be going by what they see as "Sold Out", but not the actual reasoning behind why it says that. There is no way it sold out, it was sold out right when it went up this morning. I'm sure it's just the production issue and it will be up later this week! (wishful thinking?)

Someone call customer service!!! I'm going to call in as soon as I can get a second.

If it is by chance true then I'm just going to buy the others I want and go to the counter and get Gulf Stream later I guess 'cause I'm really anxious to buy these! Of course it has to be GS of all things though, the one I want MOST.

I doubt Gulf Stream is sold out. I am pretty sure it is just that their production is behind on that particular shadow. Pro stores got it late, as well. It will show up later, I'm sure.

I would contact MAC's Global Communications dept, before I would depend on Live Chat. Global's info is more thorough.
