Re: Cool Heat Discussion

so, yesterday i tried a cool heat look. shroom from lashline to browbone (i guess you can use solar white) gulf stream in 2/3 of crease, and i mixed some random blue and dark purple shadows to get something like climate blue in my outer crease. i put some aquadisiac in the inner crease. it was def. a bright look!

My makeup at 14: Bonne Bell thin, roll-on lipgloss that smelled fruity. Or like bubble gum. My, how times have changed!

OMG, I think I finally found my HG neutral eye combo! Everything has always been too warm that I have tried, but this morning, I fell in love. I am wearing Vanilla e/s on the lid, with Warming Trend in the crease and Magnetic Fields from Neo Sci Fi on the outer V with Solar White on the inner eye and as a highlight. I added Blushbaby Blue and Tread Gently TEndertone on my lips and it's perfect. I found my new go-to netural FOTD!

You are going to perusde me for the Climate Blue! At first I thought it is gorgeous, but when I saw the swatches I was dissapointed. It looked so stranged and chalky, like som cheap eyeshadow. I guess I will have to wate till July, whne the collecion comes to Europe. I must say that I cant wait!

And how does Climate Blue compare to Contrast?

I'm pretty sure from what I can remember, Contrast is more grayish whereas CB is more blue/violet - deeper dusty Periwinkle

Yep, it really does. While I haven't yet tried it on, texture wise it did seem to be on the dry side, but I'm hoping over a VP, it won't be a big issue (and this is where the 217 or 224 might come in hand).. Actually, the texture is good if it's going to be used as a liner.

I'm still trying to think of what other colours to use with this?!

I agree also from what I can remember! Climate Blue is quite vibrant considering it's a deeper shade. I've swatched Contrast over the years but never actually bought it because it tended to lean towards a blackish blue, which on my lids would actually look really dull.

I agree, I thought I really wanted Contrast, but when I swatched it in the store I was disappointed - dull.

Re: Cool Heat Discussion

Oh...you guys will HAVE to get the 227 brush!!! I LOVE this brush. Especially if you do your makeup in a hurry.

I just used it to do a quick lid sweep of Climate Blue on one eye (it did a nice color layer of it) & Warm Chill on the other. It really made WC show up in one swoop. I didn't have any base on my lid.

gosh, just so i remember to wipe them off before i go out in public...which sometimes i forget to do
