Ok, these aren't the greatest, but you can get a better idea...

L-R: Stormwatch, Plumage, Carbon, Deep Truth (the darkest navy I have) and Bottom: Humid (the darkest green I have)

I'm def going to have to pick this up on Monday with my online order. I went on Thurs to get my Cool Heat stuff and got so distracted that I forgot to even look at Plumage! I think I'll also grab a blush brush [116 I think?] and Gentle Simmer.....maybe Climate Blue, idk, I am trying not to!!!

Personally, I liked Turquatic a lot more [My fav fragrances are Philosophy Amazing Grace and Marc Jacobs Daisy, if that helps at all]. Turquatic is a bit lighter and cleaner whereas Turquatic Heat is deeper and sexier. [Hot, sweaty Cuban sex as Can'tAffordMac would say, haha]. I would think of Turquatic Heat like the summer nightime version of Turquatic.

So I went yesterday to pick up some cool heat shadows~ I got:

Solar White
Warming Trend
Gulf Stream

I wanted cool heat, but when I saw it the texture seemed sorta gritty. I dunno. But gulf stream = <3 And solar white is GORGEOUS~

Well on me it is a beautiful more dusky midnight blue with violet tones, not purple at all.

I dunno if it's already been mentioned on this thread or not (I didn't feel like going through all 77 pages.

... But is it just me or are Solar White and Vanilla pigment pretty similar? I'd be interested in seeing a swatch of the two...

So after getting my 7 shadows for this collection I decided it was time to finally depot my shadows as there are too many now for one drawer!

Soo...I drove 45 minutes to the nearest MAC freestanding store today to buy the Pro Palettes and when I got there I told the MA I wanted to purchase 5 of the palettes and she said that the limit was 3 per customer. I told her I just drove all that way from a different state (WA to OR) and asked her if she could check to see if this was really true. She came back and said that she had checked and that the limits is 3 per day per person. Is this really true?

I plan on going ALL the way back tomorrow as I need 4 more so I am going to bring my husband with me just in case so that I can buy 3 and he can go in and get one more for me in case they limit me again.

It just seems odd that this is a permanent item and you would be limited to 3?

I caved and got it today because of all the love! I'm glad I did, I didn't even swatch it when I went in on thursday, but it is very pretty! I'll be trying it out tomorrow!

Alright ladies. I finally tried some Cool Heat stuff on today (nerd that I am used Neo Sci Fi stuff last night!). If there is anything that will make boring dark brown eyes seriously pop, these eyeshadows are it!

I used warming trend over the entire lid, Gulf Stream on the outer v with Cool Heat just on the outer crease. Then I used a tiny bit of Charred on the outer most corner. As you all might be able to tell, I'm not a full on bright eyeshadow girl, so this was a somewhat muted look but still had a pop of colour! I tried Solar White as a highlight, but found it too white on my NC25 skin (maybe a litte tanned now). So I went to my stand-by Daisychain. I think Solar White will have to be a lid only shade for me.

I was actually pleasantly surprised with Warming Trend. I was iffy on this as I thought it may disappear on my lids like Patina does. But because it's a bit lighter and more shimmery, it made an excellent lid colour and I can see this going with a lot!

I'll be trying a look with Climate Blue tomorrow!

Edit: Christineeee, I prefer Turquatic Heat, but that's probably because I've never been into the really clean or marine-ish scents. I find TH to be somewhere in between the clean, summery scents and the warmer floral scents.

this has been asked many times. i've already posted swatches comparing the two in this thread.

yes, there is a daily limit, but its actually four. no matter what you buy, perm or LE, or where you buy it, online or in store.
