I'm a sorta newbie to MAC and haven't been around for any of the Icon collections. I thought Dame Edna was this years icon, so is the 2009 icon collection not coming out for another year? Or do I have it wrong? Do they have special packaging? Sorry for all the questions!

When I read that it was a musician, my first thought was Deborah Harry.

I think Pat Benetar would be good too. But Aretha would be fabulous! All had/have pretty strong makeup looks.

dame edna is a separate collection [she is not the icon]. it's coming out in december. the icon collection will be coming out next year. all the other icon collections of the past have had special packaging.
