So I went back to the MAC store to re-think and re-swatch some of the colours, and now my list of items to save up for looks something like this:
Blooming blush
So Scarlet l/s
Cherry Blossom l/g
Rich & Ripe l/g
Cult of Cherry l/g
Jampacked l/g
I'll probably want a backup for all of them, too! Damn this Cult...it's so temptingly beautiful!

I wanted to get the quads but figured I had colors that would suffice (except maybe Sharp). So Scarlet I know I have a Clinique dupe of
October and November is when the holiday collections come out so, I'm going to let my credit card get paid off some

I paired Amber Lights with Cranberry today because I wanted to get that "autumn" look, and it is a beautiful combo! I know some of you have already tried this combo, so you know it's nice. But it definitely rocks autumn and makes me happy I didn't get the Spiced Chocolate quad!

I went by the MAC counter today, and looked at the Cult of Cherry stuff. I ended up with So Scarlet lipstick and the Spiced Chocolate quad. I looked at JamPacked but I had Pop Mode with me and they looked very similar in the tube. The Jampacked doesn't have the tiny touch of goldish shimmer the Pop Mode has, though. Those colors are great on me, so if Jampacked is still around in a few weeks I'll probably get it. I tried not to look at the other lipglasses, because Lipglasses are my weakness. I'll probably end up getting some of them, though!
I also didn't look closely at the Shadowy Lady quad, because I probably would have bought that, too!
The MA put So Scarlet on me with Nightmoth liner, and it made a nice dark burgundyish lip. It stayed on (mostly) through dinner, as well, which was impressive! So Scarlet is my first MAC lipstick, and I like it! I put Pop Mode on over it later, and it made it more of a dark purplish red - also a good look!

When I went to MAC, the MA used Lightly Ripe l/s on me and then Liqueur l/g. I was surprised but it actually looked really pretty...so I bought it! I haven't seen that combo mentioned yet so I thought I'd post!

Thank you sooo very much for this post! I wanted this quad but I am allergic to Cranberry and probably Brash as well. I can wear Coppering and will wear this instead. I have NYX's Rust as well and will wear that without a problem. I almost posted asking about other possible dupes for Brash but your post saved that. Thank you!

That sounds very nice. Did you put Cranberry in the crease and AL on the lid?

I used a little AL with the 219 to do the "inner v" and it definitely opens the eye. Great combo, I totally see why this trend is rocking for fall!

Yep, no liner or anything, just AL, Cranberry and a little Daisychain on the brow to highlight!

Man, I caved today and actually bought both CoC and Overrich stuff even though I said I was done until October after Starflash. Ughh. Oh well, I'll get over it and be happy when the box comes. I got:

Was tempted by Museum Bronze pigment, but I think Tempting should be close to it. The spiced chocolates quad was hard to pass up, but I figured since I'm getting Heritage Rouge and Copperbeam that would pretty much satisfy my need for the quad.
