MAC - Dare To Wear Discussion

While @the MAC store last week I swatched Electric Eel and Zingy.

Zingy, to my eye, had a bit of green in it while EE was bluer, or blue w/little purple.

I decided to go with Zingy because EE is perm and I can get that one anytime.

I'm wearing Louder, Please with Embark and All That Glitters.

This is def. a toned down look from yesterday with SG!

I have the LP in the crease with the Embark jammed right next to it.

The ATG really pulls this look together - just gorgeous!

I have to say, these DTW shadows are great and I had not planned on purchasing anything from this collection at all!!

I think I truly am going to sit out the next bunch of collections - except for the Violetta l/s from VV - and indulge in the winter if anything catches my eye.

I really want new msfs though!

That does sound pretty I'm considering getting LP but im not sure if it will look good on my nc42 skin. Do you know if LP is close to passionate? I really want to get more shadows from this collection-maybe another SG-and am right there with you in the sit out the next few and wait for holiday that will be easy for me though because nothing from FF or VV is really catching my eye. Glad you are having so much fun with your e/s

I thought this too, but I'm actually getting a lot of use out of it! I just put a sheer layer over whatever lipstick I'm using that day. I've gotten some awesome/pretty and totally wearable looks with it.

I love Ban This in its true "omg wow" form also, but I'm just not always that bold. =)

i am needing new ways of wearing sassy grass! i've been using it on the lid with a browny colour like club in the crease. any other suggestions for me?

I just got Violetta in the post today.. I love it! Although it is kinda bright...

Going Bananas works well with it, with Juxt blending it together. And also Humid looks quite nice to make a green smoky eye.

Here's a look that's pretty. I'm searching for the same thing. I couldnt figure out anything else to do yesterday besides what I'd already done. I've used sassy on the lid and Firecracker in the crease. Then Sassy w/Bio then Shoc-aholic in the crease yesterday.

Not 100% sure this is sassy grass, but this a gorgeous look:

Looks like Zingy on the lid, Sassy Grass in the crease and maybe Going Bananas to highlight.

Went today to MAC and saw this collection in the drawers!! I almost had a heart attack can't wait to have the green colors in my hand. My MA told me he is not allowed to sell it yet (we just got in the Grove and Digi-Pop on Wednesday). We are soooooooo behind ...

I'm NC45/50 and Louder, Please looks great on me. NC42 is several shades below mine so I'm thinking it will look good on you - I suppose it depends on how/what you wear it with.

I didn't swatch LP and Passionate together - I don't have Passionate but I do have Post Haste (LE) and LP is brighter. Passionate is on my wish list but that doesn't mean I'm going to buy it! (My wish list of perm. items is long!)

The fascinating thing about the bright shadows in this collection is you can wear them alone and the color payoff is great or pair them with the right highlighter and complementary color the impact is even greater:

For instance LP with All that Glitters and Embark - the color payoff was awesome!

The ATG boosted LP which emphasized Embark - do u see what I'm trying to say?

The brighter shadows in this collection rock! especially SG, LP, Zingy, and SAH.

If I didn't have 14 other green shadows I would back up SG but my goal is to use the colors I have but get the most out of them.

This is why I am always looking for great color combinations!

Boy, You Northern Girls and Guys are all over this collection!

I checked the Canadian site today and most of the DTW e/s have sold out!

Not so for the US!

Are we afraid of bold, delicious color???

Sassy Grass is not available in my country! I bought so bad lipgloss and going bananas though. I already have aqua, winkle and free to be. So excited to use them all!
