Oh, and don't worry, no ebay price hacking here. I just want what I paid for the l/g, and you can just have the bp. Hope this makes your day a bit better!

So, I basically love you.

(Not to mention it takes awhile to arrive in the mail etc.) Seems like everyone prefers paypal. I just don't trust myself to behave with a CC, and I know if my paypal was linked to a bank account, I would be spending too much. If I don't have cash, I just don't buy.

Oh, and CP means custom purchase. It does mean shopping for others

I know the shadows are pretty dupeable, but the blush looks beautiful and so does the gold lipglass. The l/g looks fairly unique too. Oh well, more money for Naughty Nauticals I guess

Well I'm thinking we could chat more about this. I wouldn't mind a stitch getting an M.O. cuz I work in Downtown Milwaukee and my bank is literally the building across the street. And I'm with you on the CCs. ALL I have is the Check Card (debit) and NO credit cards. Then again, I also am one of a VERY few with ZERO debt

I also think the ladies here must be very trustworthy because everyone seems to adore this board so much (as do I) that no one would want a bad rep. from not paying or what have you.

If you care to discuss it further, feel free to PM me. Plus, I ship everything from my law firm so mail is super quick and reliable.

LOL! That was cute! It's not a problem. I really think having such a limited collection released in very few areas wasn't very fair to people who can't order online, weren't able to order online due to it being sold out, and to the people who tried, like you and I, to call Soho and kept getting that "Verizon messaging service" recording. By the time we got through, what we both really wanted was sold out, so I know exactly how you felt, and it's not a good feeling. I'm glad that I was able to help you out with it!

OK, so I tackled the UPS guy on the front lawn & grasped for my two black boxes...

OMG...LOVE, LOVE & LOVE so much the whole entire DC collection!!!
The lipglass is incredibly beautiful soft bright pink just like the lipstick but a bit softer. She Gold - MAC must make this available as a perm!!! It is so beautiful over the lipstick - a gorgeous pearly gold. This would make any lipstick color fabulous.

The pallet is Beautiful gals! The blush is similar in color to sweetness but a tad softer & has this gorgeous VERY subtle silvery shimmer sheen to it. It does not have glitter like I read somewhere. Its so so pretty!

The texture of everything is so so soft.
MAC needs to restock this - I don't care what they say right now!!!

I still want She-Gold too but the more I scoured through the lip glosses on Sephora.com and other makeup sites...there are plenty of dupes so I don't feel so bad. I'm just a sucka for LE packaging.

Uh, the packaging is fabulous - so chic! I'd be into MAC doing more designer packaging

Re: Dress Camp discussion

Ok, so I'm still very sad about this. If MAC isn't going to restock anymore why don't they take Dress camp of the website already. What good is it doing there anyways. It's not like you can order from any stores. There all sold out. All it's doing is giving me high hopes that I will see that add button. I already got a headache from refreshing it so much. But I just can't stop because it's still there so I get the urge. Does anyone know when do they take it off their website after everything is sold out. You know their display thingy or however you call it?????

I think I'm getting jaded.
I saw "Dress Camp" at MAC online this morning, and wasn't enthralled.
The most amazing part is that, when I saw that "Too Fab" lipstick is already gone, I thought, "Eh; I've already got so many bright pink/fuchsia lipsticks already ..."

Re: Dress Camp discussion

Too Fab lippie is not really like all the other bright or fuchsia pinks. It is more true pink without the red or purple undertones that they normally have.
It's fairly close to Vivacious, but again Vivacious is more red.

Re: Dress Camp discussion

The Palette is NOT that impressive, the blush is exactly the same colour as sweetness beauty powder blush except it has sparkles in it. The eyeshadows are okay, but not as amazing as I'd thought they'd be.

I love both the glosses and the lipstick tho

I got my package today and I feel so bad for everyone that didn't get this... The compact is sooooo gorgeous in person, so much better than the pics... The shadow are dupeable, but the packaging is so stunning... I really wish they would re-stock for everybody

Re: Dress Camp discussion

I received my face palette today. I am definitely more in love with the packaging than the colors. The e/s colors are definitely dupe-able. I do not have any pink blushes (not including MSFs), so for me it was well worth the purchase.

I will find some way to incorporate the palette exterior colors into a decor scheme (maybe a guest bedroom).... I love the packaging that much!

!

So at least the customer service rep that I spoke to at MAC was so superly helpful. She contacted UPS herself to see if they could 'pull' my package from the station in Richmond to put it on a plane! But it seems that it already went back on a truck to make the 3 day journey back this way, lol! It's so nice hearing all these beautiful descriptions of all the products, I just hope I end up with mine in the end!

Hey if they are sending people emails of a backorder that certainly means that they will restock! I think they just don't want it publicly known because people will end up going crazy and keep calling the CS line as to when it will be restocked. I say we just keep refreshing the page. lol

Would you say its more close to Fashionably Fuchsia? As they are both lustres?
Looking at the pics, I like how Too Fab doesn't have red or purple undertones. Its just like bubble gum pink - my fav kind!

Agreed. They did this with the Zandra Rhodes collection two years ago. IIRC, it sold out the day it launched and lo and behold one Friday afternoon, they restocked the collection. I was able to get a 2nd palette. Of course, it sold out just as quickly.
