Finally.. I got my Marilyn Monroe Stuff from Aramex today =D!
I placed an order around 2 weeks ago when the collection Hit Nordstrom, It was delivered to my Address last week & I had to wait few days more to get my package forwarded to me! Aramex Guy delivered it to me in my work, Wish it arrived in the Weekend so I can use morning light for photography & Swatches!
I took fast photos when I got back for my lunch break, No swatches until weekend.. sorry friends =(!
I got 4 Items from this collection
- Forever Marilyn Beauty Powder
- The Perfect Cheek Powder Blush
- Preferred Blonde Veluxe Pearl Eye Shadow
- Love Goddess Lipstick
I wanted to get the other Eye shadow.. How To Marry, but I thought they were very similar from the swatches I saw, so I will wait until it hit our MAC Stores in Bahrain & will Compare, I will also get Stage Red Nail Polish, Loved it but I couldn’t order it because nail polishes considered as Prohibited items. & I may also get a backup of the lipstick.. I think the Collection will most probably launch within the next 2 weeks.

Love Goddess Lipstick
Will start with the lipstick.. I really felt confused when deciding which color to get! Because I don’t wear Red at all, I felt in Love with Charmed I’m sure but I know I won’t wear it, then I felt in Love with Love Goddes.. Beautiful Reddish Pink.. I don’t have any similar shade but I think I will Love it.​

Forever Marilyn Beauty Powder.. I Always Love MAC Limited Edition MSFs, this is my first Beauty Powder but I know every beauty powder becomes popular when released! It looks little paler in picture, in real in has little more of Peach.. Inside.. look at the cute red kiss <3​

The Perfect cheek Powder Blush, I love the sound of this one.. a natural pink & matte! I feels it will make a perfect blush for natural looks..​

Preferred Blonde Large Eye shadow:

I Love Pearl / White Eye shadows! I was going to get both this & the white one, then I saw Temptalia’s Review Saying Crystal Avalanche which is permanent is a close dupe to it, & Allura also said both Preferred Blonde & How to Marry are Similar, So I got Preferred Blonde but I have a look on the other one when I launches here.. I may buy it or go for Crystal Avalanche!

Question: what is the MM beauty powder best used for? I have super oily skin, so I'm not sure if the beauty powder will help absorb the oil? Or should I just stick to my blot powder?

i bought a lot more from this collection than i expected...
three lipsticks, 1 blush, 4 eyeshadows.
(i originally thought i was skipping!)
my purchases did not have anything to do with the packaging or marilyn association...in the end i just really liked the colours!

charmed i'm sure is my favourite lipstick out of the bunch, but i didn't get pure zen yet, so maybe that'll change :)

I bought way more than I expected in this collection too, or can I say I bought everything!!! I got all lipsticks and backed up pure zen for some reason this already permanent became my favorite charmed I'm sure and love goddess come next, I bought the beauty powder both blushes and all shadows... I also bought one blush for my mom

I am so excited to have my haul and play!! I ended up with Love Goddess, Charmed Im Sure, Beet and Cherry Liners and I cant stop playing with Charmed Im Sure, it is by far my favourite red lipstick I have used in a while because it is that deep true red rather than the pinks and reddy pinks that I normally go for. I have used it non stop since I got it.

Does anyone else feel a little 'Marilyn' when they are using these products? hehe I find myself with 'happy birthday, mr president' in my head every time I put a lippy on!
