few weeks back my daughter asked me for a marilyn lipstick for her birthday.....WWEELLL today is her birthday and she was opening her gift lol searched the bottom of the bag, looked at me and asked "where's my marilyn lipstick?"...lol made me laugh...Happy 9th birthday Alyssa, mommy loves you but you're not old to have a lipstick yet!!!

Go figure, they restocked this collection the one day I had plans, haha. I'd panic, but luckily I already bought everything I needed wanted.

What was I doing four hours ago? I was doing the laundry and cooking. I feel stupid.

I was traveling this afternoon and missed it too. The only LE, highly sought after release I have ever managed to successfully purchase was the By Request lipsticks when they were first sold. That was only because it was released late at night and I parked myself at my desk until it showed up. I am rarely online during the day, so I always miss out on restocks.

I wish I had been around. I finally swatched Pure Zen in person over the weekend, and decided I would have liked to get it, if it was in Marilyn packaging to go with the others I got/am waiting for in the mail.

Better for my wallet though! LOL!

Me too. I was so excited to get a bu of FM. It is so wonderful. I wish the product was perm or had a real dupe.

I'm sure we will see more BP similar to Elude and Forever Marilyn. The trend for a glowy pale complexion will certainly continue in 2013, thus it is just a matter of time - and a lot of patience - until we can buy more products that feature this soft-focus technology that makes E and FM so wonderful. Similarly, I also expect that there will be a wider range of colors available to suit a variety of complexions.

I wore it over Jouer tinted moisturizer this morning and it looks amazing!! It is a similar look to using strobe cream under F&B but less pink.

DA is my favorite from the whole collection! Just kindly explain to your cousin that any part of her body that touches your new DA, she's not getting back. So if she's fond of her fingers and lips, she should stay far, far away from your stash.

I bumped into a friend today who was on the way to MAC. She had a long list of Marilyn products that she was meant to be getting for her sister since it "just came out".
I didn't have the heart to tell her the only things left are FM, Silver Screen and the pencils!

I had to tell my sister last week. I felt so bad. She's out of state though so I couldn't go grab her stuff. But I did try to point her to the MAC website when they restocked. Makes me feel bad.

I kno what u girls mean I felt so bad that I was going to give my friend one of my eyeshadows, but then it suddenly reappears on the site n I left math class early to order a new one for her instead since I used my once. however, if my new order gets canceled for some reason I will give her the one I have

I compared Beet, Cherry and Redd lip pencils to my NYX lip pencils.

MAC Beet = no match in my stash
NYX Plum is a lot darker than Beet. NYX Burgundy isn't pink enough. NYX Mahogany seems too brown. These are the colors that came somewhat close to Beet, but they're still off.

MAC Cherry = NYX Hot Red comes very close

MAC Redd = no match in my stash
NYX Orange matches in brightness, but it's orange and not red. Keep in mind, NYX Hot Red is my only red NYX lip pencil. I plan to purchase more now that I have more red lipsticks.


P.S. Scarlet Ibis + NYX Orange makes a nice, really bright orange-red lip look.

I was going to try using NYX Orange w/my SI but thought it might be too orange. It's worth a shot, Thank you

I got it from website and still could have picked it up from counter having received them before they were officially released. I did get a bu of CIS on release day cus I loved that one so maybe he won't mind too much?

thank you ohsojaded it has shipped! now I can finally be done with this collection ( well as far as getting all the items lol). Hwdsprincess I let mine kno too but I didn't see it was restocked till a few hours later so all the lipsticks were gone... but hey at least I told em so they coul grab something!
