MAC for Marilyn

I would have loved to have had the pictures of Marilyn putting on her makeup for this line. Something seems harmonious about makeup with the images of Marilyn with makeup. I am a sucker for that kind of harmony!

I like the photoshoot but yeah the packaging looks bleh. It looks like they used the same technique as they did for VV. I'm not really a packaging person, it's more about the product for me. But I do like how you can always pick out a certain colors by the packaging amongst the sea of MACs black packaging in your stash.
Me too but it's disappointing that with such a steep price increase you are still getting packaging that looks...cheaper than you would expect. I mean the price hike is almost 3$ per lipstick and almost 2$ per es (compared to the PLW).

I prefer the normal MAC packaging to this :(

I'm still confused about the e/s. So they are the regular e/s formula, but they're bigger pans and more expensive?

The pots definitely look bigger.

Is this the collection that supposedly has e/s similar to pressed pigments? Or am I thinking of something else? Also, is Specktra running slow for anyone else? It's taking forever for pages to load for me, but other websites are working fine...

They're meant to be pressed pigments in big pans I think???

I know someone mentioned these were pressed pigments, but someone else siad these were regular e/s. So I'm not sure... They have a Veluxe Pearl finish I think, so I was assuming they were regular ones. But the pots look huge.

The picture says pressed pigment eyeshadows in shimmering metallics and diamond tones for silver screen allure.

They still better be bigger than regular shadows.

Thank you, Richelle! I missed that. Not sure if I will get one then.

So far I want Love Goddess l/s, one of the e/s or pressed pigments (whichever they are), and maybe the bp and blushes. Can't wait for swatches!

I'm not as interested as I was before I saw the packaging. But I will still purchase a lipstick or 2. Hopefully soon we can see some swatches before it's release. I kind of hope I dislike everything so I can save some money lol.

I'm very very curious about these "pressed pigments". Has anyone's MUA confirmed what these are yet? Are we sure it's not simply a colorful new way of describing the regular eyeshadows? If not, I will most likely be getting every eyeshadow from this collection!

I'm going to ask the MUAs in amsterdam today if I don't forget. I'm very curious what they are.

From the looks of it I'll be getting every lipstick except for Pure Zen just like I thought. I only hope I can get all 4 before the inevitable sell outs.

The pink red lipstick might be similar to Moxie, which is mate, I like the finish better than the satin. I `ll buy for sure Charmed i`m sure ls and maybe an es, that`s it for me

If the eyeshadows are pressed pigments, I'll get one of those, but I'll skip them otherwise and just get the beauty powder if it isn't too expensive.
