Pure Zen actually looks really pretty! I don't normally like nudes, but this one has a pinkish cast that I think makes it look a bit more wearable for me!

I'm liking it too, for the same reason. I think I'll wait until it's available in regular packaging, though, to save money.

Me too! Plus since it's permanent, if it's my perfect nude then I don't have to stock up when it's in the expensive LE packaging! Yay :)

I still want four lipsticks (all but Pure Zen) and The Perfect Cheek, and possibly one or two eyeshadows and the bp. Love Goddess looks beautiful!

Pure Zen looks pretty nice. But I might get it in the regular packaging. Love Goddess looks AMAZING... but I need more swatches to back that up

I'm very very curious about these "pressed pigments". Has anyone's MUA confirmed what these are yet? Are we sure it's not simply a colorful new way of describing the regular eyeshadows? If not, I will most likely be getting every eyeshadow from this collection!
I asked about these on another thread and I think they are mostly flesh toned pigments (name 1N, 2N, 3C, etc.) in pan (pressed) form but with some shimmer. I am curious if MAC is switching to the big shadows overall (and the price hike associated as well). I think they are going to be very useful for shading the eye and may be available in some quantity at Pro (If I recall rightly that is)

Is Scarlet Ibis a must-have? Is it similar to Hibiscus?  TIA!  :amused:
I bought SI when it first launched sight unseen, and it ended up looking EXACTLY like my sephora brand lipstick in It Girl. I couldn't even tell which was which when I swatched them side by side and my lips as well. In fact, I preferred the texture of my sephora one more, so I gave SI to a friend :) I have Hibiscus, but its waaaaay more pink/coral, no where close to SI.

I still haven't used my Scarlet Ibis, shame on me
Oh yes... Shame Shame!  Something tells me your lips aren't hurting for good lippies despite this oversight!  HeeHee Right now, I'm mostly SLV'ing it... Come Fall, SI will be my BOO!
You're so right, lol xD My lips really can't handle mattes but I had to have it because it's such a gorgeous colour! And it was the last one so I thought we were meant to be haha. I'm going to use it though when I'll own prep + prime lip! SLV is also soo pretty!

Pinkdollface, you went to Amsterdam this week, right? Did you see if there were any HC items left at the pro store by any chance?

PM'd you back about it:)

I asked the MUAs in amsterdam about the eyeshadows in the Marilyn collection. They told me they were not the same as the ones coming out with the face & body collection. So they are not the pressed pigments, but they are just bigger eyeshadows.

Thank you Pinkdollface!

I am happy with bigger e/s because they have a VP finish which I love + very pretty colors that I will use a lot.
