It's been out at the Queen St. Pro store since last week. I've bought Haunting & Nile eyeshadows. I don't know about the free standing stores, and The Bay doesn't have it (maybe soon?), they only have Matte2 so far.

our update books says everyone everywhere is supposed to get them, no exclusions. launch dates may be different, but other than that everyone should get them.

No actually the Macys counter that I go to will have the collection for sure-I just talked to them today.

My Macy's counter was "unsure" that they will get it... I'm so worried now D: I don't wanna have to travel, and plus, I have a Macy's giftcard I was going to use. DDDD: SNAP!

Most of the counters around me arent going to have McQueen. I have to drive an extra 20 minutes to buy the stuff i want.

so, i have some bad news. i went to update today, and was really disappointed.

at fall update back in july, mcqueen was listed as being distributed to all locations, which made me excited (since i work at a macys counter). sadly, we found out today that it is NOW only being released to stores, nordstrom, saks and online only in the US and to all locations internationally (except for indonesia, phillipines and china). mac changed their mind. the reasoning behind this is that with mcqueen being such an out-there designer, the collection (and designer) didn't seem to be as appealing towards the excluded shopping margets. it seemed to be more towards the other margets, hence the limited release.

so i appologize for my previous posts reassuring everyone that it would be at all locations, because at the time of my posts, it was going to be.

the release date for mcqueen is listed as oct. 11th.

The eyeshadows are a Satin finish, not Veluxe Pearl as previously thought.

I'll have swatches up in an hour or so.

Really??? They are not VP?? Wow, that changes getting them for me as I already have pro aqua and I was only getting this since it was vp.

Oh well, save me a tiny bit of money

That's what my counter said. I was so disappointed D: Now I have to travel to get this collection. Bummer.

Oh my, I am SO disappointed that these are satin finish eyeshadows. I was going to get all of them, even though I have similar colors, just because of the VP finish. How many yellow-green satin finishes to we need? (Overgrown/Eyepopping/ and now the McQueen one)

Im having my doubts about the collection now. I wanted to get it for the colors and the collectorability, but now im not so sure. Would it be stupid to get the collection as a collector's item?

better spend your money on something you'll actually love to use imo.

I went snooping this past weekend. At the Saks counter they told me it would be out Oct. 11, but at the MAC store, they said Oct. 4.

The woman at the MAC store showed me the stash. She let me play a little with it too - I wish I had had my camera with me. But they had a lot of everything, so I'm not worried. For some reason, they only had 1 lipglass though.

I totally agree. And with all the holiday stuff coming up soon, these r gonna be really costly for most of us. For me, I only getting the MSF from this collection since I missed out last time.

this makes me sad, i dont have a MAC store that is close nor a nordies or saks. more money for the collecions at the end of the month.

You don't have any counters close either? It is being released at all MAC locations (including Macy's).
