I spend such a great time. As I said, my parents came from my hometown to visit us and had an awesome time with them and hubby, who is taking me on an bday escapade this weekend!! I'm soo happy!!

If that wasn't enough, my sweetheart traced my Chanel most favorite SA, who was moved without previous notice from store at the same time we got married, so we lost track of each other!! I have missed her enormously as she was so lovely, never pushy and soo kind, and always remember the things I already had and my tastes and weaknesses. We had been "together" for 5 years or more, so she really knew me. She was kind of a friend to me and really missed her. It was the most pleasant surprise, and I dear to say, the best gift to find her card in the envelope of one of my gifts from Hugo!!! Yesterday I received a call from her, I'm sooo happy!!!

Hope you're not too exhausted from your work meeting!!

and that is amazing that he found your favourite SA! so sweet and thoughtful of him! and if you are going away this weekend it sounds like the fun is not ending anytime soon!

i'm really tired actually - i was on the go for about 16 hours yesterday... and had to go into work today.... i am sleepy already! not good!

In addition to this collection, I'm thinking of heading over to Target to buy some Liberty of London pieces for my casa...I need something bright and bold to counter my depression I've been having lately!!

I didn't think this would be a large haul...or even a medium or small one. I expected to get ONE thing - Birds & Berries. I've even avoided this discussion thread because I just wasn't interested...BIG MISTAKE!

I saw the swatches and pretty much fell in love with Birds & Berries, Ever Hip, A Different Groove, Peach Stock and even the pattern on the bags - I'm contemplating the scarf! ACK!

The collection arrived the PRO on saturday and really mad as I've been calling every single day for the past two weeks... and also worried I won't get RP. Will see...

So sorry you're not feeling so well lately,

Whatever is causing you feel depressed, will pass. Usually depression hides anger... If you're angry with something or someone, try remembering you can't change people/things it's you what you can change. Things are what they are, buy the way you deal with they it's what makes a difference!!

I saw the collection today, but there weren't any testers made, so I couldn't swatch

Everything looks amazing. The collection is so well put together. All of the colors compliment eachother so well. The packaging, which I hated at first, I love. Without testing, I had my MA hold all of the e/s except for Free to Be, Shell Pearl, Prim and Proper and Blue India. My counter is at a Dillards, and the only got 6 of each item. So, they will only have 5 of each peice to sell once they make the testers. Check with your counters as far as stock, and do a preorder if you can. I have a feeling this stuff will sell out very quickly. Only one more week! I can't wait!

How do you go about pre-ordering? I've never done it before. Do you just give them a list of your items? Do you have to put any money down?

If my counter does it I definitely want to tonight!

It depends on the counter. You can just call and ask. At my Nordstrom counter, you can preorder, but you have to pay for it right then, and pick it up on launch day. At my Dillard's counter, they will pull the things you want, put them in a bag with your name on it, and you pay when you pick it up. They put a hold sticker on the bag, and if you don't pick it up by that date, it goes back into stock. My freestanding store does not do preorders. I say just call and see how your counter does it, and be sure to get the person's name who you talk to just to avoid confusion

I know. I just wanted to dive in and start swatching, but I resisted. Prim and Proper looks similar to blushbaby in the pan, only slightly more peach, and less pink than Blushbaby. To be honest, looking at Blushbaby in the pan, I would NEVER had purchased it, but after hearing all of the rave reviews, I did, and I love it. It is my go-to blush. I think Prim and Proper will surprise me too. It looks quite unexceptional in the pan, but I bet it will be quite nice on. My MA said to call on Tuesday and see if they have made the testers yet, and come back to see everything and swatch. I SO wanted to have her hold Summer Rose for me too, but I already have it, and I have to keep reminding myself of that. Even if this one does have a better texture, I don't need a second one. I don't. I don't.
