MAC Give me Liberty of London Discussion

The MA who helped me today was wearing the blue polish, and O M G is it gorgeous!! And this is coming from a person who does not like blue polishes (except navy). She said, like me, she initially thought the products sounded "meh", but after seeing them in person she said that the colors are really pretty, especially the glosses!

I'm not going to call this my list, since I know my opinions can change drastically when I see things in person. In about three-four weeks my counters should be starting to get stock, so then I can go and swatch and play and build a proper opinion about things. Gosh that's far away.. Even further? The April 15 launch.

Once I have my complete SCF haul, I am going to stay away from the counter until GMLOL comes in. No buying little nick nacks, seriously.

It's like a dirty naval blue with a hint o' teal. I loves me a dirty color, lol.

The teal polish is really a unique color. I can't wait to get it. Are you planning to get Summer Rose from this collection even though you already have it? Any eyeshadows for you? Are you planning to get all of the lipsticks and glosses? I am trying to stay strong and not buy any lippies just for the packaging. I have similar shades in my collection already...

I've changed my mind a few times on another Summer Rose - but after what Bunnyx3 said...I really love the color. We'll see.

I got everything except the bp....although summer love was very pretty!

Sorry if this has been asked already but....what are the blush dupes for summer love bp?

So far my list has stayed pretty consistent:

I may pass on the BPs. I have to swatch them first. I am trying to be conservative with my $$ as I know Art Supplies will hurt my wallet bad. LOL

Ok so as I was picking up my new l/l from Too Fabulous, I saw the shipment of LoL behind the counter and I might have squealed like the MAC addict that I am!

But really, this collection has me hot and bothered, I can't wait til it comes out! Except that when I get it, I won't really have any collections to really look forward to

I'm still a little bit unsure whether A Different Groove is worth getting.

My friend called me up from the Mac store today and she told me that they're not giving any pro card discounts on LE special packaged items. She was sad but still ended up with a few things. She even said she couldn't b2m for them either.

The swatches on that link Audrey provided have scared me off Dirty Plum. I'm worried it's going to take too much work to apply with a light hand. Thoughts from anyone who has this?

Otherwise, I think I've narrowed my list down to Blooming Lovely lipstick only.

I will give you my thoughts, but it may cost you money.

I was worried about the same thing, and I actually love DP. I apply with a skunk brush, just 3 dots along my cheek bone, and buff with a kabuki. Not too much work at all, and it's so worth it. It's a beautiful raspberry shade on me.
