People are going to sleep on A Different Groove, but I'm telling you it brings the sexy. Give it a go. I am obsessing over not getting my hands on Shell Pearl. Not happy about that.

Something in me wants Summer Rose, but I think it's just the packaging and the name. It's not unique enough to buy. This is kinda pinky purple and Azalea Blossom is a milky pale lavender, but still they come out pretty similar on me. Ugh. If I have extra cash I know I'll end up with it.

I'm actually glad the shadows don't call to me b/c I depot my shadows anyway.

I want to try the glosses on my lips, but they just seem so milky and settle into lip lines and I don't want to have to return it. I HATE returns.

I'm thinking about this too.. Do you have Photo Realism -quad? I have it, and while I like it, I don't love it. Bough Grey seems to be in the same color family, and these types of colors just aren't the best for me. Definitely not terrible, just not the best. Same goes for teals, so I'm skipping Birds & Berries as well as Bough Grey. I'm hoping Gazette Grey will be better for me

Actually I'm skipping all the e/s from this collection, there's bound to be a dupe for Dame's Desire with a better payoff, same goes for GMLOL, and as for Free To Be, I already have it in pan form. I really like it btw

My list hasn't changed at all, it's still Prim & Proper, Shell Pearl and Blooming Lovely

Yup I have that quad and I lovvvve it!

I also thought Bough Grey would be nice with it which is why I wanted it, put perhaps GG will go with it even more(?) =)

^ Yep, I'm hoping that the gold pearl in Gazette Grey would make it lean more towards neutral and make it more of a color that would go with pretty much anything, including Photo Realism

Who knows though, MAC's color descriptions aren't always to be trusted..

Comparison swatches would be lovely! Maybe both of them would work for you. Which means you still have a dilemma.

I'm not helping.

I hope this isn't a silly question, but what is it about Shell BP that is attracting everyone? I have seen the swatches, it looks just like a shimmery highlight color, am I right? But I feel like I must be missing something since there's so much talk about it.

^^ Abby - the appeal for me is that the shimmer is softer and finer than one gets with some of the MAC MSFs. That is the main appeal for me - others might have different reasons, but that is mine. Many of the MSFs are just too glittery and super shimmery for me - this BP looks like a very soft shimmer, which is just what I want in a highlighter. Shell Pearl also has a tone that I think will be very versatile for me.
