The lighting was so dark, even next to the makeup lights. I left the Chanel ls swatches on my hand until I got out into the mall under the sky lights so I could decide what I actually liked.

Not IMO - Shell Pearl is very subtle, and the color tends more to pink on me (NW20/25). The RH MSF is much more 'glittery' and obvious on....

I never rely on the department store lights - I go outside when I can to see the color in natural light. Too many unwelcome surprises and bad purchases! I hate taking things back!!!

I think it looks pretty, but probably not warm enough for me. I think I'm just going to get Frankly Fresh and Shell Pearl from this collection. I generally agree with Karla's descriptions about glowy vs shimmery vs glittery and she was quite positive on SP. I was disappointed in what she said about the way GMLOL swatched tho....

well, I must say after seeing Karla's swatches and reading other reviews my list is getting smaller yet again:

- none of the lipsticks for me. I have many bright pinks as well as Lavender Whip and Up the Amp. I much prefer Myth over Peachstoke and lastly, I have other coraly pinks that I like better than pics of Ever Hip l/s
- I'm not gonna get Birds n Berries as I have Deep Blue Green p/m. I know they're not exactly the same but one dark teal is enough for me
- I will not get either of the beauty powders. I have highlighting products that look better
- No more Bough Gray as everyone says it's lacking colour payoff.

So we're left with:
- Prim n Proper blush - will try it in store before buying
- Blue India n/p
- PHS l/g

what a cheap collection for me

I wore Prim & Proper blush and A Different Groove gloss today. I am in love!!!
I already knew I'd love the gloss. It's so shimmery. It's a deep burgundy, brownish, reddish...just sex in a tube. I'm terrible at describing colors.

If you are NC45 like me, buy Prim and Proper. It is gorgeous. You'll love me for it. Now I really want Shell Pearl. After loving ADG so much I am almost tempted to try the other glosses, but I will try my best to resist.

Frankly Fresh is slightly peachier than Perennial High which is pinker.

Shell pearl has slight shimmer and not as glittery as rhapsody in two.

I personally prefer Cremesheens over glaze. But Ever Hip is looking like it leans too orange based on swatches so far. I know here was another comment about these finishes. I think there's a fairly noticeable difference in coverage, with Cremesheens definitely providing more colour. They also don't dry out my lips near as much as any of the older formulas. Since you found the swatch of Ever Hip scary, wait for the peachy colour from To the Beach. Glazes are sheer, so the colour of your own lips will show through a bit, and that may actually look nice.

Ah, I'm glad you posted this! I was considering GMLOL based on her swatches, but if it's going to be a b*tch to apply, I'll pass!
