My freestanding never accepted depots, but I never had any trouble at Nordstrom or Dillard's. I have not been to Nordies in awhile, but the manager at my Dillard's counter told me that they recently changed the policy and would no longer be accepting depots. It varies everywhere it seems.

yeah it must vary, because i traded in depots at both nordstroms and macys just 3 days ago....

Ok so...I am having buyers remorse for this collection and I haven't bought anything yet!!

But basically I am debating if I should just skip Bough Grey e/s and Dirty Plum. I think BG is a unique color but I don't wear gray very much, so I feel like it will sit in a drawer if I get it. Dirty Plum is also awesome looking but is it wearable? That is the question. Bc Vintage Grape has been hard to pull off, so would DP be the same situation? And I know for now I'm skipping both BPs-- $25 is just a tad steep. It was worth it for the ombrés but I was stoked for those whereas these are cute but not exceptional IMO.

i use both UDPP and Too Faced. I find that they are noticeably different. UDPP is much more dry while too faced is more silicony-wetter. for reference, i have oily skin. i use bare study paintpot over both which does make blending easier. however, if i use nyx pencils for a base, i think UDPP is the better choice as things do get slippery-slidey due to how creamy nyx is. my eyeshadow may crease with too faced, but never with UDPP. so i like having both

I just checked this last week at my Mac store - depots are no problem as long as both pieces are there, the case and the inside rim thing. Not the pan of course! Hope that helps. I am in Canada - I'm not sure if that would make a difference.

I am really confused about what to get from LoL on Thursday. Should I wait to get the bag online or buy it now with free shipping? I don't even know if this is something that I can get at the store on Thursday? And Bough Grey really has me up in arms....with so many saying that it's color payoff is nill, should I even bother?

Yep, I use the flatiron method and once I've removed the shadow, I press in the new pan, and I'll smush in some eyeshadow so it looks like a used pot. I also remove the sticker, but I may stop doing that if counters are no longer allowed to accept depots.

If you're not overly excited about BG. DP or SP, then just wait...there's ALWAYS more... don't sweat it
