Isn't it hilarious how we are always sooooooooo excited and crazy over one collection, and before you know it everyone is gossiping and going crazy over the next collection and it hasn't even come out yet? LoL its funny to watch this heatherette topic with 73 pages shoot all the way down to the bottom because everyone is talking about the summer collections

I am soo excited about the three part collection now that I forget to wait for Heatherette!! But I know I will get my order finally next Monday or Tuesday. That's the releasing delay...

I can't wait to see my pink Heatherette lippies and the orange ones standing next to each others!

But before this will happen, I must prepare myself for Naughty Nauticals.

Urghhhh. ..I went down to Selfridges today and the Heatherette collection hasn't been put out yet - that just PISSED me off!!! Last time I went there they said it would be out today.
I kinda felt better though because I thought I saved me some money. Im getting my cousin in the Sates to get me both trios, sock hop and hollywood nights. I did want melrose wood, lollypop lovin, starlet kiss & style minx but they sold out so fast on the US site. Those were the ones I meant to buy today. OH WELL...

I got Saint Germain from the Euristocrats collection OMGGGGGGG..it looks so much better than Melrose Wood form Heatherette!! They have the same description and texture on the site. BUT with Saint Germain you dont have to work hard to get it to look right on you like loads of people have said about Melrose Wood.

I'm so jealous...I want that shade so bad! Is the color close to Melrose Mood?

Yesterday when my little black box arrived (it was lip tint Strobeblossom) hubby says... 'what is it...lipstick?'...then he said 'is it pink?' i died laughing...of course its pink

It's the same thing here, the release dates get changed all the time. And seeing how things are going in the US, I guess there is a serious shortage of stock from Heatherette. My lemmings from this collection are actually dying out.

^yeah, i heard from the mac press people in the uk that the release date was today (thu 3rd) but there's nothing

on the website it says the heatherette selfridges events are around the 10th, so maybe it's been put back a week?

I was so excited to check it out today, major disappointment..but now im thinking I might have been caught up in the hype too much!lol ..I think I still want Lollypop lovin though because I love my corals!! Im just lucky I live only 30mins from Selfridges so travelling isnt really a hassle.

Glam8babe: Swatches should be up tomorrow..sorry my camera is not co-operating tonight. And I think you'll love Saint Germain instead of Melrose Wood =)

HAHA @ elegant-one :From all the swatches i've seen of Melrose Wood, Saint Germain is more towards a brighter pink than the very pale pastel pink which is how Melrose Wood looks to me. It's an ultimate girlie colour, for those of you who love your pinks i'd definitely get Saint Germain in your kit!! It does remind me of Scanty which I also have.

I actually went to London just for a day on Tuesday and I was so hoping for Heatherette to be there. But nope...only FAFI
The guy there told me that they'll launch it on April 10th and I was really bummed since there is no counter close to my house that'll sell Heatherette...

In Germany it's only going to be available at three counters and the next Dutch counter(I moved to the Netherlands) is in Amsterdam...140km away!

Both lipsticks have the same description online - Clean pastel pink (amplified Cream). I guess both of them can be classified as 'pastel' but the Saint Germain lippie is much more pinker & brighter..hth!

And sorry my bad..scanty is much darker in the tube!
