Also looked at this yesterday at Ulta. Almost bought it because the texture is like butter, but started thinking these colors are probably very similar to some of the Style Seeker colors. The Bare Minerals quad is called Rare Find. They were gorgeous! But I'm going to wait, because I would rather have MAC!

That green and that teracotta color were the best, and to bring this all back on topic....would look awesome with CoU for fall! My new EL lippie will look awesome with Stratus and Earthshine...for fall.

For some reason Specktra isn't letting me load photos right now... It was doing this to me yesterday too...
If you just google "MAC Cantaloupe blush" you'll get lots of images. That's how I researched wether I was going to try it. Saw a lovely look with Kim K wearing it, and I was sold!
I think you'd like Cantaloupe because it's one of the more demure pro blushes, but still very pigmented! Salsarose would also look nice on you used with a light hand. If you liked SN, you might like Azalea, but if SN was too bright for you... Azalea is even more pigmented and a tad brighter than that!

As for your questions regarding the MES's... UA wasn't too frosty on me at all. I had one with lots of purple, which I LOVED! But it arrived broken and the one they re-sent has very little purple, so I might not like that one as much. Don't have BM, sorry.

I know this is OT, but I need to vent.

I was travelling on business in the US this week. While away, I finally treated myself to a Clarisonic Mia 2 (Sephora had a LE version for oily skin/enlarged pores). I also bought some other things while away; stocked up on Clinique, bought some Smashbox primer and cream shadows, some MAC, etc. I was also travelling with easily $400 worth of MAC/NARS when brushes are factored in. We're not even talking about expensive wool suits, shoes, etc.
wtff.gif

They've lost my luggage. Delta scanned it in at the airport and the plane, but there's no scan showing it arrived in NY and it doesn't appear to have ever been received by the second airline. I might add that this came on the heels of a five hour (FIVE FREAKING HOURS ON A FRIDAY EVENING WHEN I JUST WANT TO GO HOME) delay.

I've had luggage delays before but they've never been like this where no one has the slightest idea where the items were. For all I know it was released with the other luggage at LaGuardia and someone took it home. I might be worrying needlessly, but I have a feeling that I won't be getting any of this back. I had MM, SLV, Sun Dipped, my 167SH, Fire Sign, Venus and other beloved LE items with me.

And I want my Clarisonic - I didn't even get to try it.

That's horrible. I never check any bags because I'm always afraid that they will lose it or someone will pick it up and steal it at baggage claim. I really hope they find your luggage :(

Oh gosh, that's awful! I hope they give you decent compensation if they can't find it! I've never lost luggage, but when I was coming home from the US a couple of years ago, they left our luggage out in the rain in Florida for HOURS. We only found out when we picked it up at the airport in the UK, and by that time all of our photos etc were ruined :( So yeah, complain like crazy until they compensate you for THEIR mistake - that's my advice! I'm so sorry this happened to you!

Thanks - I hope it will turn up but I have a bad feeling about it. The airline is so NOT helpful. I can't report a claim for five days, and then it takes them 20 business days to respond to one. Oh, and I'd need to have receipts for EVERYTHING. Who keeps every receipt for jeans, blow dryer and the like? My travel insurance doesn't need all those receipts but it won't kick in until the airline claim has been exhausted. It's ridiculous. No one can wait that long to replace items.

I'm heading to Italy later this week so I'll need to replace certain items (suitcase, blow dryer, straightener, skin care, fave jeans and the like) before I've gotten permission to rebuy which means nothing will be covered. Nothing.

If that suitcase shows up I will be very relieved. I try to avoid checking luggage as much as I can but I was spending five days in an office so had three suits with me. Luckily I was wearing one of them.

I travel ALL the time for work, and this is definitely my biggest fear! I've had my bags lost COUNTLESS TIMES! It's very frustrating and stressful, I know! But, luckily, they have always shown up eventually. I'm so sorry you have to go through this... But keep your chin up and fingers crossed that it is recovered! The airlines are financially liable for your bag up to a certain amount, and if you have the receipts for the items in your luggage that you purchased, that will help support any claim you may need to file. I know the money doesn't replace your items! But it may help ease your mind a little. Keep all your info from the airlines... (bag claim tickets, any lost bag printouts, and document the followup calls and contact you have)!

Hindsight is 20/20 obviously, but in the future ALWAYS put anything in your carry-on that you would be DEVASTATED to lose! I know TSA restricts a lot of liquids, so you may not be able to do that with everything, but do it with as much as you can! Jewelry, ID's, makeup, important documents, expensive shoes, irreplaceable items of any kind ALWAYS get put in my carry-on bags!

Again, I'm so sorry! If it helps at all, and you probably don't even want to think about trying to replace your items so soon (give it at least a few weeks) BUT I was crazy and ordered a BU of SLV (which I love but will probably NEVER get through my first tube!) and MM... and I'd be happy to send them to you.
As for the other MAC items you specifically mentioned on your list, they are still available on the MAC website.

Thanks, that's very sweet of you. Hopefully they'll turn up. :)

With having to carry my laptop, iPod, eighty billion cables/locks and charges and other critical business stuff I just can't put as much into my carry on as I'd like. My makeup kit didn't fit, although I had some in my purse. I can't protect a lot of skincare stuff because the liquid exceeds the limits.

I know I'd eventually get reimbursed for some items. It's just a pain because I'd bought a lot of the in the US and I can't replace them here for the same cost. I didn't bring any mineralized products luckily; I was careful to bring sturdier products. If I wasn't such an addict I wouldn't have felt the need to have three blush, a pearlmatte, several liners and two quads of e/s with me. I suppose from now on I'll just have to carry one generic blush and a couple of lippies in my purse. But what fun is that??!!

Audrey C, that's awful :( I've had my bags lost a few times but they've always shown up like PixieDancer said, so I'll cross my fingers that you get yours back safe and sound!

I've been wearing Venus and Light Year every day since I got them. If Venus is still on the site when I get paid I might buy my first ever back up... ahh!

Okay,I know I've asked this a gazillion times, but haven't gotten any feedback or I may have missed it (sorry). I don't have a skin twin, so I'm still wondering if any NC20's were able to make ES work but not as a bronzer or countour. I really want it but it got all mixed in with my freckles & just looked dirty. Even if I got a mostly gold one would I be scared to use it? I have Glorify and I never use it because it is so scary dark. It's just sitting there all untouched...so I don't want ES to end up the same way. Did most of u find that UA was just too frosty or is it frosty in a good way? What about Bright Moon? I think will I ever wear a color like that??? Probably not, but I really liked the colors. TIA.
I am NW20 and I have been using Earthshine as a blush. I apply all along cheeks with the 109, buffing it in as I go. I definitely apply it with a light hand, but I do a few layers and it never looks muddy. I usually use a touch of coral blush on the apples of my cheeks to lift the color a bit, and I've been really pleased with the overall look. In fact, I've been reaching for Earthshine more often than Star Wonder and Light Year! I definitely recommend it!

No Fun AT ALL!! I really do understand! As mush as I travel, my makeup bag is the one thing I ALWAYS over-pack... I don't use 1/2 the things I bring, but, like you said, as a makeup addict myself... you want to have extras "just in case of this" or "what if I decide to try this look instead"... and on and on. I think there's hope you'll get your bag! Make sure you let us know! Sending good vibes your way hun!

I think I'm about NC25 (never tried MAC foundations) and Earthshine is beautiful as a blush! I originally bought it to use it as eyeshadow (I thought it would be too dark/muddy as blush and I wanted my planets to be complete lol) but so far I've only used it on the cheeks and I'm in love!
