I know just what you mean about not forgetting about old products. I can't remember the last time I used my Extra Dimension highlighters. Well, I do remember the last time I used them were right before the HC highlighters came out. I did the same thing with the Naturally blushes. I was in love with them until I bought a new Chanel blush and then I moved on to the Tres Cheek blushes. I think I've been doing good with this collection as far as mixing the blushes from other collections with the HC highlighters. I think it does help when people post looks they did. It reminds me to work in other products.

I am definitely know to do the same thing with a lot of my products. I was going through my stash 2 days ago and pulled out Subtle Breeze MB from the Naturally collection. Sometimes I get too wrapped up in new collections and I get forget old favorites. I was going to challenge myself to try and use at least 1/4-1/2 my stash before buying new products so I can get a better sense of what I need or don't need as well.

Your palette is beautiful pinkdollface! Some day I want to get salsarose, too! I'm in love with the online swatches, but have never worked up the courage to call a pro store and order over the phone (the pacific northwest in the state is Pro-less lol). Very pretty, though! Enjoy your new goodies!

Went to MAC today just to browse and ended up leaving with nothing new from HC but I did manage to scoop up the last Lightscapade! Lovee it! It's the perfect highlight and literally brightens my face up soo much when just applied to the tops of my cheekbones :)
I love the fact that it actually had 10g of product, unlike the new HC MSF's. Gah, why?!
I'd really like a chance to build up my collection with the permanent MAC items, such as completing my eyeshadow 15 palette, getting Soft and Gentle and Gold Deposit MSF's, and creating a blush palette, but I feel the need to give first priority to new collections for the sake of limited edition products.
This week I'm planning to go to the closest CCO near me :) I'm super duper excited but trying not to be because I don't want to be let down! I'll just play it casual

I ALSO want to pay a visit to the NYC MAC PRO store when I go up to look at a college! Should be a fun new experience c:
I'm looking forward most to the By Request collection and Electric Cool next. Supernova blush is still tugging at my heart strings though....... le sigh.

Sometimes I tend to get caught up with the new collections as well but I try to be mindful of products I already own.

Yes, I purchased a new msf, for example, but it is being used as either blush or highlighter with other blushes and msfs in my collection.

The same goes for my new mb. I'm using other blushes in my collection with it.

Also, my new mes is being used with a lot of eye products I already own as well.

I wore Earthshine today as a blush - all by itself - and OMG! I love it!

So gorgeous!

I was so busy packing other shades over it I was not taking the opportunity to appreciate it.

Now I want to wear it all the time!

Not a ton, but i think awesome! I kept going back and forth way too much on Center of the Universe and the CSG's to actually buy. I get super bad buyer's remorse if i don't use something and it just sits in my drawer. Maybe after a while i'll pick up more, but by then, there'll be another new collection! :)
