Picked up my Devil May Care MES and Lucky Number n/p. The MA was so nice to look through all the DMC MES's to find me the one with the smallest crescent. Stay tuned for a FOTD appearing on a computer screen near you!

I have to know what you think of the colors, esp. the peachy & the warm brown colors! I think I still really want this one.

TBH, I just went in and grabbed DMC & LN and ran out. I didn't touch the other shadows for fear of leaving with most of them. I do plan on getting a couple more, but I gotta get to a f/s to B2M for 'em.

I did swipe Dream l/s from the d/g set - it is sooooooo gorgeous!! I will totally be getting that bag set. I really would like 2 of those l/s...it's that pretty!!

Ok I did my best I couldnt get swatches on the eye palette because I was in a hurry and I will give this advice use a heavy hand to get the best pay off when applying. Colors are gorgeous but to get the best pay off use a heavy hand when picking up the shadow and applying I will pry be using this with my bare study paint pot.

Ever so rich cremesheen gets 2 thumbs DOWN. Ok I thought it looked gorgeous in the store didnt swatch it didnt try it out my mistake oh well I B2M for it so no loss taken. Lull gives a better payoff then Ever so Rich so if you are looking for a lavender go with Lull I like it not to heavy shiny and very pretty. I tried a few things with Every so Rich. I tried bare lips, I put my N1 face and body foundation on my lips and put a powder over the foundation and then Ever so rich it still looked the same I tried Sweet n Single lipstick with Ever So rich they all look the save if you want to use it I would suggest pairing it with Lavender whip or the girl in the MAC store told me Pervette looks really good with it. I think Im going to invest in Pervatte I would of bought it if it was in stock at my store so guess ill be placing a MAC order online today.

I got all of the MES in person they're even prettier than the swatches, but I wish they didn't add that glitter crest. I ended up passing on boy bait because I have other nude glosses that suit my skintone better. I got super supernatural MB and the texture is so much better than the colour craft blushes not super glittery at all. I think I'm gonna end up going back for conjure up since I missed out on merrily and ever so rich because it looks so good applied over pink and coral l/s

thanks so much for your effort hun! i think the swatches are good! i know how annoying it is trying to take piccies of stuff like that! so thanks a bunch!

i think i shall skip ever so rich now

i'm kinda weird and don't like layering glosses over lipsticks (unless it's a dazzleglass). i wear gloss alone, or lippie alone. so therefore i like my glosses to have reasonable payoff - which sadly this does not appear to
ssad.gif
and i missed out on lavender whip (stupid me only wore pink lippies at the time!) so wouldn't have anything to layer it on anways

booo!

Thanks for your opinion. I'm second guessing getting the one with shimpagne. I would in a heartbeat, had I not purchased the Look in the Box this summer. I kinda regretted that right when I bought it, and even moreso now, because I'd much rather have all that comes in the mineralized kits. If Play on Plums and Nuance aren't that impressive, than I'll have to pass.

I also got the pinkazoppin mineralize face kit. IMO if you have petticoat you really don't need light flush. I'll prob end up giving the MES away.

Hi everyone....

I haven't been on the boards much, but did want to stop in with my review of some of the collection. Unfortunately, we did not have the lipsticks or two eye pencils at my counter. Just Dream l/s and the other color. The blue palette surprised me because it is much bluer in person. Passed on it only because I don't tend to wear blues much. Sourceress palette is very pretty and the colors go quite well together. The darkest purple swatched similar to Top Hat on me. As someone else said, the colors were not all that original, but the purple-gray was most unique to me. The Devil May Care looked as it did online. The gold color and burgandy colors were favorites. The biggest surprise to me was how small the palettes themselves were. I didn't think that the original palettes were all that big, but my MA said people were complaining. My feelings are the same on the bags. Overall, its a nice collection, and when the lipsticks come in, I will go back and pick up the Sourceress palette.

I only tried in on the back of my hand, but it showed up with just a couple of swipes. It is a really pretty pink...not quite mid-tone, and maybe a little dirty. It's darker than Politely Pink, but not as dark as Sweetie. It's right between the two. I'm super excited about it! I really hope they release it separately sometime. I don't really want to purchase two of those bags just to get a second one.

I was surprised, too...they looked so much bigger in the pictures online. And, at least to me, the shadows within the palettes look smaller than usual.
